  •   marncat Thankyou! @corsaro128 2w
  •   corsaro128 Another thing to do is to create lesson plans for what im about to say.....1. Never ever (equipment, ski area safety, walking in boots, putting skis on/off), 2. Straight run (explaining athletic stance, feeling in boots and feet, eye position), 3. Creating a wedge (feeling foot feeling go from flat to the inside edge of both boots using a rotational and lateral movement , easy drill "open legs and twist" feeling flat feet to inside of arch. 4. Wedge change ups, ie size of wedge to control speed. 5. Stopping. Creating a angle of the skis making them slowly stop you. 6. Minor direction change aka the wedge wiggle. Using just your eyes, then the feeling of the big toe / little toe, then the muscles in the leg. Then get them to pick the most effective for them. 7. Wedge turns. Its mainly holding those feelings for longer. Draw in the snow wedge wiggle then draw a crisp wide j turn, going down the fall line and coming to stop because hopefully your skis will be pointing up the hill a bit. Then link them going from a c turn to a series of s turns. 7 basic wedge Christie. Ask them to feel the big toe on the outside ski get heavy. Ask them to make it heavier. Then see if they can tap their inside ski off the ground when that toe is heavy. Then get them to twist that ski to parallel when the downhill is heavy. Advanced wedge Christie is adding More lateral flexion towards the down hill ski. There is some vertical to make it smooth. Your will be fine . just make it more progressive. Break everything up into achievable goals but keep it a tad challenging. Level one is easy if you do tour hoomework 2w
  •   marncat That sounds confusing haha @corsaro128 2w
  •   corsaro128 OK lol.... Buy a nzsia manual 2w
  •   marncat I'll have a look into it :) anything else I need to know about anything? @corsaro128 2w
  •   corsaro128 YouTube /google Jonathan Ballou and also Sofa Ski School. I've worked with both of them . Jon's a NZSIA examiner and Klaus is a world class instructor. Those videos will help you wrap your mind around the terminology 2w

  •   quentinbbaker @marncat it's good to hear, glad you enjoyed you time there ! Have you picked a loaf of bread? ;). The hotel is a long project, you have plenty of time to come back and see the changes 1mon
  •   marncat Well seeing I've only been once, we just bought one, just a seeded loaf, I'm generally just a rye kinda girl but there was so many to choose from. Any recommendations I must try? Yeah I bet it's a long project! It's on such a phenomenal block of land! @quentinbbaker 1mon
  •   quentinbbaker I know right?! It's really a lovely place ! Well on the weekend we have the 100% rye. What do you like so much in rye bread ? 1mon
  •   marncat Ah cool, I'll have to pop back and try that one. Well honestly, when I was living overseas I hated American bread, so sugary, so I opted for rye, and just haven't gone back since. Only the odd occasion on weekends when we buy nice fresh bread. But the champagne and beer loafs seem interesting, worth giving them a shot? @quentinbbaker 1mon
  •   quentinbbaker Yes for sure, the Campagne is a loaf with spelt and rye flour, very tasty ! The beer and fennel one is nice too ! As long as you like beer ! 1mon
  •   marncat Ah cool, might give them a try too then! Haha yeah, I do like beer. Is it a strong beer flavour? @quentinbbaker 1mon
  •   quentinbbaker Not that strong, it's very smooth ;) 1mon
  •   marncat Haha sweet, well thanks for the tips! @quentinbbaker 1mon
