Normal Mark Weinberg
markweinbergnyc In 2013 I was photographing a stop motion "how-to" video about pie crust with @merrillstubbs (one of the @food52 Founders). I asked so many questions, an embarrassingly large number of questions, and she answered them all. That started a journey of making over 100 pies in a year. We still make pies at least once a month. For anyone wondering, concord grape is our favorite pie. Thank you Merrill for starting us on our pie making journey! #Journeymakers #AmexTravel @AmericanExpress #pie (this is a frame from that stop motion shoot that started it all) 24h

markweinbergnyc When my wife and I travel, we love to find outdoor activities. While staying in the town of Reine in the Lofoten Islands of Norway we went on a cold and beautiful kayaking journey around the area, and met Sandro ( @reineadventure ) one of our #Journeymakers. Because we were there in the off season it was just my wife and I along with our guide. As we kayaked he told us stories about the town and what it is like living in a town of about 300 people (of course we ran into him in the tiny grocery store later on during our stay) Now, wherever we travel, we try and find a place to kayak because we loved it so much! This is a photo of our kayak guide in Reine. #Journeymakers #AmexTravel @AmericanExpress #lofotenislands #norway 6d

markweinbergnyc My wife's family (a few generations back) is originally from Norway. We met Sverre and Britt, some of my Wife's distantly related cousins while in Bergen. It was like meeting long lost friends. They showed such kindness and love to two strangers from New York. Meeting them and learning more about our family history has had a lasting impact on us. This is a photo of their amazing cabin outside of Bergen. #Journeymakers #AmexTravel @AmericanExpress #norway #bergen 3w
