Hey all. Fisheye shot of the Gallery of Modern Art in Glasgow. This Gallery, in Royal Exchange Square is housed in a neoclassical building, built in 1778. In the foreground is the equestrian statue of the Duke of Wellington, sculpted by Carlo Marochetti in 1844. The statue has a traffic cone on it’s head, which is left there by the authorities as each time they try to remove it, it is replaced with another by the public!! The cone represents the light hearted attitude to authority in the city of Glasgow. In the museum itself, there are works by illustrious artists such as Andy Warhol and David Hockney. Front on Comp as it’s very difficult to get an effective shot of this from the side due to the square it is enclosed in.

This is what being bored late on a Friday evening looks like!!. Shot at Little Burchetts Farm in West Sussex, & inspired by all of the awesome hay bale landscape shots I see at this time of year. I decided to do my own thing, and shoot a hay field in the middle of the night !! Multiple shots combined, some light painting went on to illuminate the foreground & some Photoshop adjustments too. I was having a great time till the farmer turned up on his quad bike, and told me to clear off ( hence the title!! ). Sorry Mr Farmer!! Have a good evening. -

Hello everyone. hope you’re well today. This is a view of the London skyline ( & predominantly St Paul's) from the roof of One New Change in the City of London. I’ve shot this location before. Posting this because I love the sky, it was sunset, with a great colour, and windy, so some cloud movement going on too. If you’re in #london and you haven’t been to this location before, it’s definitely worth a visit!! -

Evening folks. This is Llandudno Pier in North Wales, shot last weekend when we were in that area. I thought that mono worked well with this particular image. Very long exposure as had a filter on trying to capture some sky movement, and keep the water very smooth - I used a Lenser P7.2 torch to highlight the rocks in the water a bit too. -

Morning everyone. Wishing you a great weekend ahead!! Here is a classic #london shot across Westminster bridge on Wednesday evening. Evening All. Long expo shot of the Lighthouse at Newhaven Harbour, Leith, which is on the banks of the Firth of Forth in Scotland. It was a blustery, moody day, with a bit of sun peeking through the cloud occasionally when I shot this, so on with the 10 stop ND filter to see what came out. I like the light colour that I caught, and the sky movement, as well as the pier with it’s railings that lead the eye in nicely. Off to North Wales tomorrow for a quick shoot before heading to Liverpool for the weekend. The football season is here again -

  •   jorgelinaferro Amo los faros 2w
  •   markster70 @cindyneller thanks Cindy. The 10 stop filter reduces the light that gets to the sensor by 10 f stops on the camera, which means you can leave the shutter open for along time during the day, in this case 41 secs, rather than 1/20th of a second. The Polariser is more for enriching colour, it will make the sky a much deeper blue, or reduce the glare from water considerably, it does not cut out anywhere as much light as the 10 stop 2w

Evening all! One of my favourite comps in London - nowhere near a traditional, or ‘classic’ shot of the city. This is Heron Tower in the Square mile, shot from the ground with an 8mm Fisheye. It’s been a little while since I posted a Fisheye shot, and I so enjoy using it to get very unusual perspectives like this. Multiple images to deal with the flaring issues from the Fisheye, blended in Photoshop

Sunset at Millarochy Bay, Loch Lomond, from my recent visit to Scotland. I loved these rocks in the water on the bay, and the line they create heading out to the backdrop of the mountains and sunset on the west side of the Loch. Hey all. Having fun here in Cornwall, although will be heading back to the South East tomorrow. This is a seascape from Porth Nanven, near St Just, Cornwall. This beach is also known as ‘Dinosaur Egg Beach’, due to the large Ovoid boulders that have been deposited there from the crumbling rock faces over the years. Evening everyone! Its been a few weeks since I posted an image from @london. Got out for a stroll last night, and wandered across the Millennium Bridge looking for alternative view from that area. Ended up with the camera rig set up over the handrail looking back at St Pauls, as you’ll see. I like the darkness of the passage leading up to the cathedral, and the different colours bouncing around off the buildings / rail etc, before the eye arrives at the bright lights of St Paul’s illuminating the night sky. -

Hey all - this is the Forth Road Bridge, spanning the Firth of Forth in Edinburgh, Scotland. It connects West Lothian, and South Queensferry. Built in 1964, it is a suspension bridge, spanning 1006 metres. I managed to find a spot right underneath the bridge that enabled me to get a shot in square format. Shot at around 1am in the morning, the illuminated structures in the middle of the bay are cranes for the construction of a new crossing that is currently taking place. The bridge reminds me of the Bay Bridge in San Francisco in many ways, another structure that i’d seriously love to shoot one day!! Enjoy the weekend!! -

Hey all. minimal landscape shot i took whilst in Scotland. This is Loch Lomond as the sun went down, a truly beautiful place. I found these stones in the water at Millarochy Bay, which I thought made a nice focal point for the light show happening above as the day ended. The colour in the sky exploded for about 5 mins, I enjoyed the reflections it created on the water, with the mountains as a backdrop. -

Morning all. On my travels around Scotland just now - have been in Glasgow, loch Lomond, and Edinburgh in the last 24 hours. One final fling with the Clyde Arc in all it’s glory here. I thought the reflections were great on the first night I arrived in Glasgow, they were completely surpassed on Tuesday evening, when the river was literally a mirror for the awesome bankside buildings, I was staggered by the clarity of the reflections as these images came out on the camera! -
