Tonight's dinner for my 3 littles and myself (my plate bottom right) is: Cod fish cooked using extra-virgin olive oil spray in a nonstick pan and seasoned with curry powder. Organic black beans, Jasmine rice, corn and stirfry vegetables cooked in Braggs liquid amino's to give it that stirfry taste.
I'm always asked if I eat the same as my kids and the answer is YES!  The only difference is I make modifications to my meals because I workout in the mornings and I consume the bulk of my calories and carbs pre/post workout.

lvnfit Banana Apple Oat bran muffins

Ingredients:
450 g mashed banana
450 g chopped up Gala apples
1/2 cup (Quaker brand) oatbran
1/2 cup organic golden flax
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 whole eggs
Several shakes of Cinnamon 
several shakes of nutmeg 
several shakes of ground cloves
2 tsp baking powder
Makes 12 regular sized muffins 
1/3 cup of raw batter per muffin + 1 spoon

Bake 18-20 minutes for 350°

1 muffin equals 
106 calories 
2.9 fats 
18.4 carbs 
2.9 proteins 
4.3 fibers

Colorful and healthy. Teaching my kids to pick colors and try new things instead of the same exact thing day after day!! Variety is fun plus different foods offer different qualities (macronutrients and micronutrients). For tomorrow's lunches I packed : yogurt, almonds, carrots, snap peas, orange bell peppers, croutons, apple or nectarine and sandwiches (3 different ones). Far left sandwich peanut butter & jelly, middle sandwich chocolate almond butter & honey AND far right ham & mustard sandwich. 
It's my goal to teach my kids about healthier habits in a way that is fun and enjoyable not as a miserable diet so they understand WHY we eat the way we do.

200 g kale sautéed in extra-virgin olive oil spray with a little bit of garlic salt in a nonstick pan and one serving of Kirkland (from Costco) cod fish cooked in a separate pan with extra-virgin olive oil spray and seasoned with curry powder.
Finishing this leg day at
2100 calories
144 g protein
279 g carbs
46 g fats

lvnfit Pre & Post workouts are always my biggest meals! And on leg day the carbs go ️ When you choose healthier options the volume goes way up!! It's hard to over eat on the healthy things! I'm an eater so I know! #nomnomnom

One beer rock, one entire bag of frozen stirfry veggies that I cooked in Braggs liquid amino's to give that stirfry taste, 1 cup of watermelon and half a cup of fresh squeezed carrot/apple juice.

lvnfit I don't like doing laundry! It never ends and there's always a full basket waiting to be washed! The cycle of washing, drying and folding NEVER ends but you know what?? I like having clean clothes!! Just like health!! It never ends, it's something that you have to work for every single day even if you don't want to or you don't feel like it! The difference between laundry and health is that people can see when your clothes are dirty and with health it is often hidden on the inside!! Health is worked for every day!!. You've got to wake up and take charge of your own actions and apply yourself to achieve your own goals!!.
Just like the laundry-it won't do itself!!

  •   lvnfit I heat up a nonstick pan and then spray with extra-virgin olive oil spray. The mushrooms I cut and the purple onions I slice superthin so they'll cook fast but basically you add everything to the pan on low medium heat and you just let them cook until they get to the caramelization that you like. @mamaskybear 4d

lvnfit School is back in session (tomorrow)!!! YES!! 🏼 So now I'm making the kids lunches (top) and the Mr's lunch (bottom)! We all eat the same: fresh, colorful, healthy and what I like to refer to as #EatTheRainbow.

Today's lunch is packed with protein and full of flavor.
After finding six meatballs in my freezer that I had previously made (you can find the recipe about 3-4 weeks back) I decided to make a rustic open faced omelette.
Using a nonstick pan sprayed with EV 00 spray on medium heat I began by sautéing 50 g of purple onions. Next I added 3 ounces of sliced mushrooms and 50 g fresh spinach to the onions. Then I topped everything off with five egg whites and six meatballs that I had broke into pieces. Last step I placed the whole pan in the oven on broil to finish cooking the top.

  •   tianouaa @lvnfit I loce your IG and you are an inspiration to me, not to offent you but how do you calculate your meals calorie value? Because based on the calories that each macromutrient provides us, this meal has 343 kcal (3x9 + 10x4 + 69x4). 4d
  •   lvnfit I use MFP @tianouaa any time there is a high fiber source most often the #'s calculate wrong (like Quest bars) because these companies deduct the fiber. I log it in MFP and those are the numbers I share. 4d
