lr1611 Sweet potato hash with tomatoes and caramelised onions topped with sunny side up.
Lunch prep to save me from the shitty canteen.
On a side note, people who assume that I bring my own (healthy) lunch because I'm on a diet etc piss me off. I am a pretty good cook and I enjoy my own cooking way more than most food I can get for lunch. It's cheaper and healthier than subjecting myself to the awful catering they have here.
So I try to prepare my lunch when I can spare the time.
Just because you don't enjoy veg does not mean the whole world has the same tastebuds. I don't assume that you're too lazy to fix something decent for lunch just because you're willing to subject yourself to the subpar food, so just... Bugger off

  •   lee.dae.ho_038 Wow! Sounds like a good plan! If you don't mind me asking, how did you decide on Hungary? Also will you two or any other European countries at this time? 4w
  •   lr1611 @lee.dae.ho_038 desserts are always a good plan! my sis and I decided on visiting budapest as 1. We wanted to see more of Eastern Europe. Central and Western Europe are much more commercialised 2. Weather is great at this time of the year, low 20s(degrees) and sunny with cool breezes! 3. Parents can't walk much and budapest has concentrated attractions, relatively flat terrain (apart from buda hill) and a good public transport network 4. Budapest has great respect for arts and culture, which is a main interest point for my sis and myself 4w
  •   lr1611 @lee.dae.ho_038 and Something we discovered along the way: budapest has great food! Hungarian food is really interesting and they have some really nice, affordable restaurants 4w
  •   lr1611 @lee.dae.ho_038 oh, and I forgot, we are just doing budapest as I have already spent 7 days in London visiting my friends and relatives! If I stay much longer I might be out of a job 4w
  •   lee.dae.ho_038 Haha! Thanks for that! Very interesting! I agree about Hungarian food! We had (have?) an authentic Hungarian restaurant in Manchester NH, USA and the food was fantastic! But their main business was pastry and OMG they were incredible! I hope you have a great vacation! 4w

lr1611 Shoes on the Danube Bank.
Sculpture along the Danube River in memory of Jews shot into the river during World War II. They were ordered to remove their shoes and were then shot from behind and the bodies washed away by the river.

lr1611 One of the most beautiful and well cared for churches I've ever encountered.
They have free evening organ concerts frequently so everyone may enjoy the space (and their fantastic pipe organ) and it is not simply a colossal monument to be occupied once a week
