lovemydress Lorena was certain she wanted to wear bridal separates, as she felt this was a much cooler and sophisticated look than a dress. She wore a skirt by @catherine__deane that she purchased via @BHLDN, and a top from the very talented @loriex - both designers are members of our gorgeous littlebookforbrides.com wedding directory “I needed someone to make the lace top of my dreams for me. So I browsed around (including checking Love my Dress four times a day) but at the time, bridal separates weren’t quite a big a trend as they are now. The solution came to me again at the @mostcuriouswedfair. I can’t recommend this fair enough for brides looking for providers that are bit more edgy and less traditional. Walking around the fair, I spotted the stand of @LorieX. Laura Hall is a young London-based bridal designer who specialises in alternative and bohemian brides. She is really incredibly unique and crazy talented – I expect big things from her. She had separates as part of her debut collection, which was a sign, and one of her tops featured a stunning corded lace, just like the one I wanted. I felt she instantly got me and I ended up commissioning her to create my bespoke three-quarter sleeve lace top. When I tried the finished version for the first time, a few weeks before the wedding, I wanted to cry! It was stunning and what I had envisioned in my head. Laura was amazing throughout the process – dedicated, enthusiastic, patient, affectionate, professional and I can’t recommend her enough.” ️ LINK IN PROFILE folks! lovemydress I adore this 50's inspired dress by @joflemingdesign, who I'm also so proud to say is a member of our littlebookforbrides.com. “My dress was from Joanne Fleming Design, a UK dress designer. I loved that it was a 1950s inspired dress – one of my favourite eras for clothing design. I couldn’t have found a dress that was more my style. I loved having a tea-length dress so I could enjoy the food and dancing on the wedding day!” Full wedding on lovemydress.net right now.

Normal Love My Dress (Annabel)
lovemydress We had a photo booth area that we set up with our own fancy dress in suitcases and a vintage style polaroid camera, so that guests could take photos and stick them in the guest book with a message. Everyone had so much fun – especially with the giant version of our save the date card, which had been made up like a 1950s film poster. Our faces had been cut out so our guests could pose in it like they would at a fairground.” I love this idea! From the wedding we blogged this morning on Love My Dress. : @nabeelscamera 2d

  •   louisemawson @lovemydress Questions 41 and 42 don't seem to be accepting answers in any format I've tried? Just thought I'd let you know. Thanks 3d
  •   lovemydress Hi @louisemawson - without looking I'm not sure what those questions are right now, but, might you be trying to supply too many responses to the question? We've not had any other issues raised and lots of responses already - but I'm so sorry to hear you're having problems. I'll run this past @iangeek our developer to see if he can help - thank you x 3d
  •   iangeek Hi @louisemawson, it's most likely question 42 rather than 41 thats causing the problem. It should be a whole number, with no £ or commas. Please could you give it one more try when you get chance? Best of luck! 3d
  •   louisemawson Thanks @iangeek for taking a look. I tried the number 300 several times and no luck I'm afraid! Question 41 wouldn't submit either with just the number 3. Not to worry though, it's not a big issue if it's working OK for others. Thanks for looking, just thought I'd make you aware in case there were lots of people having the same problem. 2d

lovemydress “My gorgeous @marchesafashion gown was both old world and new world, it took up the space needed to match the regal elegance of the venue—but it also had tremendous whimsy and modern feminine details like the cascading silver embroidered ivy illusion lace sleeves.” Doesn't bride @jujuintheraw of @goodjujuink look utterly resplendent in her @marchesafashion wedding dress?
