littlemacpdx I almost took down my gutter trying to prune back this passionflower. The thing grows like a weed, but the flowers sure are cool. 4d

littlemacpdx It's surprising when you stumble into a somewhat unattractive building you've passed a thousand times over the years and it turns out to be so sweet. Good job, Portland. 5d

littlemacpdx Spent the morning working on my summer garden and looking through photos I've taken for inspiration. This is one I took last year at The French Laundry's garden in Yountville, which is incredibly smart and beautiful. If you ever have the chance to go, don't miss it! 3w

littlemacpdx My favorite part of the day has been sitting outside each morning in meditation, reading, and having a long breakfast; lots of coffee, fresh juice (orange, nopales, and honey), fruit, and squash blossom empanadas or chilaquiles. 1mon

littlemacpdx Made it to the Yucatan Peninsula! Everything has a much more tranquil vibe here... time to slow down. Staying in this cute hotel for a few nights before our last stop, Tulum! 1mon

littlemacpdx Last night's dinner party was like stepping into a modern day F. Scott Fitzgerald story. It was at the most extravagant home I've ever been to with 7 levels of outdoor/indoor terraces covered with fountains, pools, art and one-of-a-kind furnishings. There were servants, an elaborate tequila bar and fireworks that sparkled overhead as we ate cake. The company consisted of designers, architects, children of athletes and other bourgeois-types. It was an odd yet fitting farewell to this dream place. 2mon
