lisamcohen We now interrupt this afternoon for a chocolate break. I have theeee best husband in theee world. He brought me home 2 amazing chocolate bars last night. Just because (!!). I've been wanting to try the Vosges Blood Orange Caramel but haven't been able to find it anywhere! The other bar is one made locally in Arlington, VA. lisamcohen Green soup bubbling away on the stove. So warming and detoxifying. Chock full of garlic, ginger, leeks, chard, kale, and green onions. Pan-glazed with Sherry and later to be finished off by blitzing in the blender until velvety with lemon juice and a pinch of cayenne pepper. Mmmmm. #greensoup 4w

It looked rather unappetizing at the end but itvwas so delicious!! Thank you for the inspiration. You should know I hate cooking (I love good food but prefer someone to cook for me!!), but you motivated me! 3w
  •   lisamcohen I'm just seeing this now or I would've sent you the recipe, @stephvandermeulen1. You are right... Not appetizing looking at the end but it tastes great and is so nourishing for you! I swap out onions for leeks sometimes too. It still tastes great! Caramelizing or browning them (if you don't want it too sweet) gives the soup amazing depth of flavor. Adding some potato or short grain rice helps give it a nice texture too when it comes time to purée. Feel free to add in some chickpeas/lentils, top with some good olive oil, and some fresh goat/farmers/feta cheese to make it more filling. 3w
