lisamariecorso Took myself on a field trip today like I was in junior school, caught the train to 81st, ate a burger and shake then went to the museum to get educated. Went to the planetarium narrated by Liam Neeson, learnt about Margaret Mead, and saw some dinosaurs. Acting like an 11 year old is surprisingly refreshing. 16h

lisamariecorso The American Dream is reuniting with a @shakeshack burger and caramel shake then going to the American Museum of Natural History afterwards. I suggest eating the burger prior to your visit as nothing will suppress your appetite more than seeing civilisation evolve for millions of years and then realise you've wiped 10 years off your own life with a single burger. 19h

lisamariecorso INCOMING: MoMA spam. A chronology of bringing radio / sound to the masses from Edison's invention of home phonograph to archival footage of Billie Holiday singing Strange Fruit in 1959 to original turntables and the sounds of the Civil Rights movement to music spanning from the 50s to 80s punk movement, and finally this blow up pool chair I am pretty sure my friend had in 1997. #moma 2d

lisamariecorso 'Conceptual' is the best word to describe Bjork's new exhibition at @themuseumofmodernart - you watch a music installation in an enclosed room with 45 speakers, then you watch her music clips in a cinema, then do a walk-through exhibition through her discography where she narrates, it's like an Icelandic bed time story for grown ups. And you see THE swan dress. #bjork #moma 2d

lisamariecorso Things I see on my daily walk to the subway: The cutest little music school in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Not pictured: People walking dogs and babies. People drinking 101 variations of iced tea. People double parking in the middle of the road. 2d

lisamariecorso A MIRACLE HAPPENED ON 48th STREET TODAY. A REAL MIRACLE. I MET LARRY DAVID, by accident. Miracle 1. I was able to purchase a ticket to 'Fish in the Dark' - Larry David's Broadway show that he wrote and stars in which has been sold out for months, front row on the mezzanine. Miracle 2. I was wedged between a couple who drove from Long Island, the dude was wearing a Hawaiian shirt Kramer style and celebrating his 44th birthday and his wife smuggled in a tall black coffee into the theatre. On the other side of me was a Manhattan business woman with a wedding ring so blinding I thought they would confiscate it during the performance because it legit glowed. We became friends and she offered me a fancy protein bar at intermission. Miracle 3. I saw LARRY DAVID perform on stage, his play was like Curb and Seinfeld spat out a sophisticated hilarious baby. But the real miracle happened when... 4. I ACCIDENTALLY MET LARRY DAVID AFTER THE SHOW. And with that I retire from vacation. 3d

lisamariecorso Saw the incredibly slender Atkins Diet Building today, I mean um, the Flatiron Building. Built in 1902 and still standing tall. Then went to Eataly across the road, Madison Square Park and saw a show on Broadway I was willing to sell a kidney for. Good news I still have two kidneys. 3d

lisamariecorso SACRÈ BLEU! We went to Balthazar and it WAS FREAKING AMAZING! This is my BFFL who lives in NYC and gracious host @antondeionno eating sautéed calf's liver and sipping rosè because that's the type of people we are now. We also got their famous onion soup gratinèe and chestnut and ricotta agnolotti with caramelised fennel, country ham, orange zest and brown better. It was so damn classy, until I took about 100 selfies in their bathroom mirror. 3d

lisamariecorso Favourite things about NYC: drinking grapefruit juice out of those clear plastic cups like you're a high powered executive in an NBC comedy, that it's a city that forces you to walk everywhere allowing you to eat WHATEVER YOU WANT, and @johnderiancompany where vacay brain takes over and you buy a beaded drink coaster like you're an-ex Woodstock hippie who moved to the Lower East Side. 4d

lisamariecorso Saw the 2015 Triennial: Surround Audience today at New Museum and walked through a virtual forest with one of those video games eye glasses, which was great because the last time I visited a forest was on the plane when I watched Into the Woods, so eventually I guess I'll one day visit the woods in real life. But probably not. 6d

lisamariecorso For people who aren't after the green card lottery in the US, there is the @letterman lottery in NYC. Dear universe, please be kind to me, I have put my name down for 8/10 Late Show tapings before I go and Letterman retires FOREVER next month. Sincerely and infinite prayer hand emojis, Lisa Marie Corso ps. I really need a selfie stick when travelling solo 7d
