let_my_people_know 100 bags of cement is what it takes to rebuild a home, but only 5 or 6 bags are actually being transferred to civilians. A new investigation shows that Hamas is stealing 95% of civilian cement in Gaza for "military purposes," (aka terror tunnels). Source: Jerusalem post 4d

let_my_people_know The city of Amsterdam will give its Jewish community $11 million as compensation for taxes imposed on Holocaust survivors who returned home following World War II. Upon their return, the survivors were made to pay a tax because their homes were left empty during the Holocaust. They also had to pay back taxes for the years they had been taken away from the city, as well as insurance fees. On Friday, the city said it would pay the $11 million — an estimate of the total taxes paid by survivors following the war. Source: JTA.org 6d
  •   behakimi B'H great decision . They won't regret it 6d
  •   starllee Incredible that damn Amsterdam and the Netherlands for taxing the remanence of the bloody Holocaust adding salt to their wounds! There is no number high enough to compensate for the Despicable way they were treated! They were victims not only of the Nazis but of the people of Amsterdam and the Netherlands. Glad that a fraction of what was extorted from the most abused people on the face of the Earth. How many have survived these 75 years later to compensate them it is incredible how barbaric some people are! 6d
  •   meirkroll What about inflation on that money since they paid those taxes? What a bunch of crap.. @let_my_people_know 6d

let_my_people_know There are many contests and competitions in Israel each year that seek the entrepreneur with the best idea, business, or skill set. But the winner of the Atlas Award – to be given out later today in Tel Aviv - will be able to lay claim to the title of “most entrepreneurial entrepreneur.” The institute is named for Ayn Rand, the novelist and philosopher who promoted Objectivism, which says each person is responsible for his own life and welfare and must not rely on the state or even other people to make his way through life. let_my_people_know UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific & Cultural Organization) was created to build networks and peace among nations and protect their heritage. However, the recent UNESCO resolution passed on April 15, 2016, follows a line of insulting resolutions which completely ignore and disregard the Temple Mount as also being an ancestral holy site for the Jewish people/religion for over 3,000 years. We call upon UNESCO immediately to recognize the deep historic and religious Jewish connection to the Temple Mount. Source: @zoa_national #UNESCO #Recognition @unitednations @unesco 2w
