kjhp {The universe is hilarious! Like, Venus is 900 degrees. I could tell you it melts lead. But that's not as fun as saying, 'You can cook a pizza on the windowsill in nine seconds.' And next time my fans eat pizza, they're thinking of Venus!}

kjhp {Do you know what you are?
You are a manuscript oƒ a divine letter.
You are a mirror reflecting a noble face.
This universe is not outside of you.
Look inside yourself;
everything that you want,
you are already that.}

kjhp ||Maybe the only thing each of us can see is our own shadow.
Carl Jung called this his shadow work. He said we never see others. Instead we see only aspects of ourselves that fall over them. Shadows. Projections. Our associations.
The same way old painters would sit in a tiny dark room and trace the image of what stood outside a tiny window, in the bright sunlight.
The camera obscura.
Not the exact image, but everything reversed or upside down.||

kjhp How adorable is this girl?
Sassy is a five year old Blue Tick Coonhound available for adoption from Northeast Coonhound Rescue. She is a sweetie with a hint of goofball mixed in.
People have been passing her by because she "looks old", which is just ridiculous. The lighter coloring is a mix of black and white hairs called ticking, and it's quite beautiful.
I enjoyed spending with her today. She'll make someone a really fun dog.
If you or anyone you know would like to learn more about her, please visit Northeast Coonhound Rescue at necoonhoundrescue.org

kjhp I adopted Daisy six years ago without having met her. Her photo on Petfinder was terrible, and she had already lived in three different homes. She had just had yet another litter of puppies, and her lady bits showed it.
Puggles are not for the faint of heart. Daisy is smelly, devious, pushy, naughty and hilarious. I wouldn't trade her for anything.
