All of my physical therapists over the years spent as much time working my flexibility as much as strength conditioning to keep em strong. Whether you're working out, riding, working, or chilling stretch and flex them constantly... :D 2mon

  •   corcoranbmx6 Diet plays a huge role in this. If you consume dairy products an animal products that causes the body to be in a very high acidic state which causes inflammation in the body. A diet that is high in alkaline forming foods reduces inflammation in the body and speeds up your recovery. if you're doing a whey protein supplement try a plant based protein such as Vega sport or Sun warrior I recommend them both. Also Yoga such as @kentpearsonbmx sad about stretching and flexibility. hope all is well and I hope this helps. Cheers 2mon

  •   corcoranbmx6 Garden of life is great! I thrive on a plant base diet and been going strong for about 4 years now. I have more clarity, recover faster, more energy, better sleep cycles, stronger, better skin, hair, nails, better sinuses, more sense of being, I could go on.. but those are some of the things I've experienced on this type of lifestyle. I would say first thing for you staring out is to drop all dairy products and red meat. These are extremely high in acid and horrible for digestion and cause all kind of inflammation in the body. Try it for a month and see what happens. Incorperate a vegtable juice a day green mostly and get some spiralina and chlorella. as an athlete we want limit our acid intake so we can recover faster and get back to our sport as fast as possible and feel good at the same time. 2mon
