kennashell ️ for all my fitness friends who eat most of their meals driving around. I'm drinking my go to Protein.... @jayrobbprotein Egg White Vanilla... It's sweetened with Stevia NO Junk Added and its tastes GOOD that's why I love it. Also please don't get this confused with the Shakeology I drink they are two totally different things. I use Jay Robb for a protein supplement and @Shakeology for my daily Fruits Veggies Pre and Probiotics also sweetened with Stevia. More specifically, if you work out in the morning what time should your last meal have been the night before? And if I can't get to a workout til the afternoon, how long should I wait to eat before working out? I know any workout is better than no workout but I feel like if I miss a morning workout, then my whole day is shot. 20h
  •   kennashell @namaramtam hey girl... It doesn't matter what time you eat at night just get up and do it on an empty stomach. Limit carbs late at night though. The ESC is only for cardio. If you're going to lift weights (which you should be doing) make sure you eat before. A protein, carb. Dermotologist asked "what possessed a red head to go into a tanning bed" lol. We can't all look good pale like Nicole Kidman! I am so pasty I just want to jump into a tanning bed but can't bring myself to do it!! 2d

I remember the day this "Before" pic was taken. It was July 17, 2009 my Mom's 50th Birthday Party and I felt "smaller". I had lost about 35lbs. and weighed around 175. My son was just 2 months old. When I saw this "before" picture I felt like I had made some progress coming from 210lbs. and I was happy with that. Little did I know everything I had worked for would be put to the test. (full story on my website KennaShell.com way too long to post here) after that I got tough on myself and started working out and eating clean. It took time to learn everything I know now. Google was my best friend. Facebook and YouTube were my greatest motivators. I followed every Bikini Competitor I knew of and their friends. I learned how to work on myself from the inside out. Anyone can be pretty and in shape but if your insides aren't as beautiful then what does it matter?! I read self help book after self help book. I had to work through why I had gained so much during my pregnancy (80lbs) and now dealing with getting it all off. Losing all of this weight was as big of mental game as it was to just workout and eat clean. The After picture was taken June 2013. Almost 4 years after the "Before" picture. I've lost 92 lbs. total since giving birth to my son. Many of you ask how I deal with negative comments on my pictures. I deal with them because I was once "that girl" who needed motivation to get through what I was dealing with. So I'll ignore every negative comment towards my pictures if it means I'm helping give someone else HOPE and some sort of Positive in their own daily struggles. So please know, whatever you are going through, you CAN get through it. I did. And I've made my personal life public to help YOU. I've since become a Certified Health Coach through Integrative Nutrition and help Women just like you every day to see their full potential and let them know they too can achieve anything they set their minds to. kennashell I know I talk about fitness all the time but something you may not know about me.... I follow Dave Ramsey's principals for financial fitness. Back in 2006 I was $27,000 in debt, had a huge car payment and was living to impress people who didn't matter. So I picked up his book "Total Money Makeover" started working 2 jobs making $12/hr at each job.16 hour days for 8 months straight with maybe a total of 5 days off those 8 months. I worked every. single. day. It was one of the hardest things I've ever done but most rewarding. I found this little picture on Pinterest and thought if I could inspire at least 1 person to get their financial act together it would be worth it to tell my story. I now am debt free except my house mortgage, which I put over 20% down on to avoid the PMI. No credit card debt and more than 6 months of living expenses in savings. This has taken me years to achieve and just like any weight loss transformation it takes time. kennashell Breakfast Today: Egg Whites with a little cream cheese and Baby Red Potatoes. So Simple and delicious. To make the Red Potatoes I microwave them to cook until soft like a "baked potato" then dice them, spray a pan with Non-Stick spray, add diced potatoes, garlic, any fresh herbs you like, salt and pepper. Cook until crispy on the edges then they are done. Super simple, quick and easy since you pre-cook the potatoes in the microwave. #goodbyefathellomuscle #kennashellfitness 3w

    Ingredients

    1 jalapeno, seeded and finely diced
    2 cloves garlic, finely minced
    3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
    1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
    ½ teaspoon salt, or to taste
    black pepper to taste
    3 tablespoons olive oil
    2 cucumbers, very finely sliced (see photos)
    4 tablespoons minced cilantro, to taste
    Instructions

    Dice the jalapeno and garlic and add to a medium-sized bowl.
    Add 3 tablespoons of fresh lime juice, crushed red pepper, salt, and pepper. Use a whisk to incorporate the 3 tablespoons olive oil. Set aside.
    Finely slice the cucumbers. Use a mandolin if you have it, but a very sharp knife will do the trick. (See photos below.) Add the cucumbers to the dressing and stir together.
    Finely mince the cilantro and add it to the bowl. Stir to combine. You can either let it sit in the fridge to marinate for a couple hours, or serve immediately. 4w
