kahnivore_photography Bundeena wharf.... Bundeena in aboriginal, means "sounds like thunder" and the wharf was first built in 1890 and has been upgraded over the years to what it is now... I have to thank @carlcronullaferries for getting me here on an impromptu decision to photograph somewhere else but still close to home... Will be definitely using @cronullaferries more often.... 12h

kahnivore_photography The good ol' bronte pool was built in 1887, monthly tickets were available and you could hire a towel for use...
The place and essence hasn't change but the towel hire has been replaced with parking meters....

kahnivore_photography Gunnamatta last night, had me itching to shoot this morning, I left at 5am to photograph the sunrise, only to be met with stars, for as far as I could see, in a 360 degree view, not a cloud in the sky...
scratching my head, I wondering where all formations went that I was shooting yesterday... So I turned around and went home...
Half an hour later, clouds were at my window, then it rained....
Sometimes you just can't pick it....

kahnivore_photography Saw my first ever seven rainbow surprise this afternoon over Cronulla, there's no trick of the camera, no app or filter, I saw this with my own eyes and was stoked I had my camera with me....

  •   tv_hdr Awesome capture!!! 🏼 6d
  •   wanderingmarse Awesome mate, never heard or seen one 5d
  •   kahnivore_photography @tysonb15 well guess what Tyson, regardless of the spectrum this happened, the light has refracted in a way that has presented this, I have iPhone shots and camera shots untouched to prove this... I have absolutely no reason to lie about this, why would I? 5d
  •   kahnivore_photography @wanderingmarse neither had I, stoked I have iPhone and camera shots unedited to prove it, plus the Chinese lady next to me caught it with her iPhone aswell 5d
  •   wanderingmarse I believe ya buddy (would never doubt ya), really is an awesome capture mate 5d
  •   tysonb15 @kahnivore_photography Maybe so, but it's not the internal reflection of a raindrop producing all of these, it can't be. There must some other phenomenon happening as well to produce this. I'm just stating how light works. 4d
  •   kahnivore_photography @tysonb15 well what ever was happening, I luckily captured it 4d

kahnivore_photography One of the many casualties after the storms Sydney received recently, among other things washed up was an awesome weaved sunbathing deck chair ( which I seriously considered dragging home )

kahnivore_photography Gunnamatta dreaming...
This place is usually a hive of activity, except at this moment, where two fishermen are checking their phones... Fishing seemed a bit quite anyway, I would have been doing the same...

kahnivore_photography Date: 24/4/15 anzac's 100th anniversary.
Place: Cronulla beach, Sydney, Australia.

Today was the most memorable Anzac Day I've ever been to, the crowd attendance and the atmosphere was incredible....
Then the sun rose for a glorious display of colour....
Couldn't have asked for anything else.... LEST WE FORGET...

kahnivore_photography The two short days I spent near Margaret river definitely didn't give me enough time to shoot its ever changing weather patterns and awesome rock formations.
the time I did spend here, I had to battle gale force winds and sea spray, which covered my lens every time I wiped it clean, but had the best cloud and sunsets which made it all worth while....

kahnivore_photography So I decided to play around with my camera to see if it worked before I put it in for a service, and it fired up.... I've had it sitting dormant on my desk for about a year and I looked at it everyday kicking myself for getting it wet and not being able to do anything about it.... I seriously thought it was the most expensive paper weight ever....
I'm back, and with a vengeance.....

kahnivore_photography iPhone shot of yesterday's sunset over gunnamatta bay, I'm slowly figuring out what light I can shoot in without it becoming too grainy, which happens often in low light situations when using your phone....
