jvictoria08 Good morning loves headed to the gym in a little bit getting discouraged I have plateaued and have lost no weight at all since two weeks ago and that was 4lbs Monday I started walking on the treadmill for only 15-30 minutes and then doing weights for arms and back leg presses ab machine glutes machine and donkey kicks with a 5 lb weight I was told to eat more protein because I am also losing no weight from my diet because I eat less calories goal of 1480 and the program I'm using suggests that my body is in starvation mode.   •   cloud9_nine I eat less calories than that when Im trying to lose weight. I don't go over 1,000 but don't listen to me lol. I usually go on celebrity Angelina Jolie type of starvation diets cuz just like u i have stopped losing weight at 145lbs to lose more I had to cut back even more. Its not healthy but it worked and at one point I hit 134 but it clearly wasn't my natural healthy weight cuz it took me damn near starving myself to stay there. 5d

  •   knice29 If you're doing the same excersizes, your body just might be used to working the same muscles over and over again and it just becomes a routine. So you have to trick it every now and then and work a different set of muscles for a while to wake it up again. Also, if you're weight training while trying to lose weight, it comes off a little slower because you're building muscle at the same time. Muscle weighs more than fat, and because of that you may actually be toning (building muscle) right now more so than losing weight. I suggest doing more cardio, like some type of aerobics class. But, a very reliable source told me that most people dont realize that doing sprints is the fastest way to lose weight. But you look awesome and have made great progress!!! 5d
