#Latergram of my dinner from last night was this joyous #glutenfree #grainfree #pizza from @joyoushealth. The crust is made from almond flour, chickpea flour and ground flax seeds and is hands down my new favourite pizza recipe (sorry cauliflower pizza!). It's full of fibre and very filling as well. Bonus- you can pick it up and eat it with your hands unlike cauliflower pizza. I topped it with a #kale and sundried tomato #pesto, then #mushrooms and arugula with a spritz of lemon juice after it was done cooking . My thanks to Joy for coming up with this insanely amazing recipe! A glass of @southbrookvineyards #organic and #local wine is also a great addition #yolo

It does have goat cheese and eggs in it but for vegan you could use Daiya brand cheese and do a chia seed egg sub instead. I've not tried this, but others have. Good luck!! 11h

  •   joyoushealth @cravings4you personally I find as yummy and hearty as the muffin is, it's not filling enough on its own so I pair it with the smoothie. I normally do a half portion of the smoothie though because it's quite filling. The best thing is to listen to your body. Hope that helps! 3d

  •   joyoushealth @cravings4you unless you ate an additional 7,000 cals (equals 2lbs of fat) in one day it's likely just that you are retaining water. This can be due to PMS, fluctuating hormones, dehydration etc so make sure you are drinking plenty of water and having good bowel movements. So the good news is it's not 2lbs of body fat! 1d

joyoushealth This is the dirty dozen for 2015 -- good news because there is no change to this list from last year! This is based on USDA data on pesticide residues. Potatoes are heavyweights in the pesticide dept and carry more weight chemical-wise than any other food. Choose organic as often as you can.   •   joyoushealth @coward19 agree! The @genuinehealth greens+O is totally allergen free and gluten-free. You could also make this taste like a cappuccino simply by adding a shot of espresso if you drink caffeine. :) 3d
  •   joyoushealth @coward19 here's what they said: All formulas with the original greens+ base have been tested to contains <20ppm of gluten which is below the amount allowed by Health Canada in a gluten free product. However we cannot label greens+ original formulas gluten free because they contain wheat and barley grass; although these grasses are not direct sources of gluten they can contain gluten due to possible grains in the grass. For those with high sensitivities or celiac disease we recommend gluten free greens+O. 3d
