johnflurry I just have to say I am so impressed with these two and how savvy they are at world travel. This is only the beginning. We are already dreaming of teacher exchanges, 2nd visit to Rwanda and many other adventures together. 2w

johnflurry My safari souvenir. Unofficial story : wrestled wild boar when it charged us after we crashed and had to push the land cruiser out of the mud. 2w
  •   ollyglenn Riiiiiiiiiiight, suuuurrrre ;) 2w
  •   heartcures Looks painful. 2w
  •   johnflurry @ollyglenn ok ok, the wreck part was true at least and a wild boar did run across the road as we pushed the truck back into action. 2w
  •   johnflurry @heartcures it looks way worse than it feels. It smarted at first and it could have been a bad break. 2w
  •   heartcures I'm glad it wasn't worse. Safe travels! 2w

johnflurry Out of curiosity I looked in the guest house freezer to see if there was ice. What I found was an ice bin full of frozen apples. Any guess what they are for before I ask? #rwanda #nuances 2w
  •   johnflurry Ok. It is just for keeping them from spoiling. ;) 2w

johnflurry These blue rays are incredible coming from the equatorial sun as it nears the horizon and shines through the famous thousand hills. In pano view they radiate out like spokes of a wheel. #equator #rwanda #kigali #sunrise #sunrays 2w

johnflurry A wonderful day today. We spent time at the sewing school, beauty school and the transition and support center for boys called the dream center run by Africa New Life. But the highlight was a surprise visit to Mother Teresa's Home of Hope. They like people to come and hold the babies and play with the disabled orphans. I don't know who felt more loved, the kids or me. The sisters are doing such a great work there. 3w
