joellediane Made up my own recipe for a Thai coconut soup tonight. So delish! 2w
  •   joellediane Step one: let 10-15 pieces of raw shrimp soak in 4 tablespoons of Thai fish sauce and 2 tablespoons of lime juice 2w
  •   joellediane Step two: In a food processor - blend roughy 2x2 inches of ginger, a handful of coriander seeds, a dash of sesame oil and lemon juice and also a dash of ground cumin. 2w
  •   joellediane Step three: in a sauce pan, lightly cook shrimp. Add more lime or fish sauce if needed. Don't go overboard tho buddy. 2w
  •   joellediane Step four: Take shrimp out when mostly cooked. Then add 1 1/2 cup of chicken broth. Two tablespoons of lemon juice and that stuff in your food processor. Oh also - chop up two cloves of garlic to toss up in there. Bring to a slight boil and stir. 2w
  •   joellediane Step five: Once you start smelling some good aroma in the air - add the shrimp and two cans/jars of coconut milk. 2w
  •   joellediane Voilà! You got some dope Thai coconut soup. Towards the end there add whatever veggies you like - I'm really into mushrooms, onions, asparagus and avocados. 2w
  •   joellediane Cook those on the side if you're into that kinda thing. 2w
  •   joellediane *I've seen it with tomatoes in there. I'm sure that adds nice acidity and texture. I just wouldn't personally add those cause I'm allergic 2w
