jessyzz I have been meaning to make myself a pencil case. The pattern is by. @ernestestceleste and I used elastic instead of ribbon. I am definitely going to make more. #sewing 4d
  •   maramkaff Can you make it a bit bigger? It'll look great as a clutch. 4d
  •   jessyzz @maramkaff yes. But I am not a clutch girl. I usually carry everything but the kitchen sink 4d
  •   maramkaff I'd buy it from you. You have an etsy store, right? 4d
  •   veryorangette I love it, jessy! 4d
  •   jessyzz @veryorangette thank you. 3d
  •   jessyzz @maramkaff I don't know if a larger size would hold its shape. I should give it a try. 3d

jessyzz When I was a kid I really wanted to be a cartoonist when I grew up. I have always been a "Jack of all trades, master of none" kind of person. I can learn lots of new skills but never to a depth that makes me a true master. And that used to bother me, but not anymore. It is who I am. 1w

  •   londoneya I second that! 2w
  •   marmarmoussa So is there any arabic books(novels) that you recommend for a teenager? 2w
  •   jessyzz @marmarmoussa I didn't read any arabic novels until I was in my twenties and I don't think they are suitable. But maybe Ahmed Khaled Tawfiq's books are a good idea. @rjjayy are they suitable for young teenagers? 2w
  •   rjjayy Ma wara2 el tabee3a and fantasia ues suitable @jessyzz 2w

  •   lastoadri Yes! I totally love it. Never had the courage to do it though.. 2w
  •   jessyzz @lastoadri it is super easy. And you don't need any special tools just paper, a craft knife, needle and thread. 2w

jessyzz I have a collection of journals. I actually have much more than the ones pictures. Some are still at my mom's place. #journaling #fauxdori #bulletjournal 3w
  •   jessyzz @ramblingperi first I used faux leather and double sided interfacing but it wasn't strong enough and the fabric kept unravelling. Then I tried it with craft foam and faux leather. That is the one in the picture. It worked well but you need to use spray glue but I hated that I could see the purple foam. And everything made indentations in it. So I tried to glue two pieces of faux leather together. It is not as sturdy but I like how it looks and it is reversible because I have red and black leather. I got the leather from ebay. You need something that is around 2mm in thickness 5d
  •   ramblingperi Interesting insights, @jessyzz . I had googled fauxdoris previously when I had first heard of bullet journaling, but had never come across the double-sided/reversible idea. I like the double color look you have going, but like you, I hate how craft foam gets ugly indentations... Personally, I prefer the wobbliness of leather versus the stiffness of craft foam. 5d
  •   jessyzz @ramblingperi that is why I ordered the leather. I started my bullet journal back in September of 2013 in a 5d
  •   jessyzz @ramblingperi in a grid moleskine. But ended up using is for everything so I liked the idea of having different notebooks for different things but still in the same place. 5d
  •   ramblingperi I love Moleskines, whether hardcover or paperbacks. Use them for everything. But I agree, I prefer having separate notebooks for different topics. I also love the refillable part, and the additional inserts option. Like you said: in the same place. 5d
  •   jessyzz @ramblingperi yes yes yes. Be my best friend because most people don't get my "thing" for notebooks and pens. 5d
  •   ramblingperi @jessyzz darling you have come to the right place. I collect notebooks. Seriously. I buy notebooks from countries I visit, and friends and family usually gift me notebooks from their travels. Not to mention my regular notebook and pen purchases, of course. They're my pick-me-up treats. 5d
  •   ramblingperi I write, and I prefer writing using pen and paper. 5d
