jeremyhilliard On this street, and others just like it, I have seen amazing things happen that have left my spirits feeling more alive then they have in quite a while this past week. I have seen young men find peace for the first time in their life, older women healed of debilitating illness, and the laughter and singing of children fill the air.
My mind is constantly filled with questions and plans, and bogged down with self inflicted weights of needing to "fix" things. But, I've really come to realise that when we let our journeys and our hearts entwine with God and others in a humble, sacrificial, and honest way, then there are ripple effects beyond what we could have planned or strategised. I love that. So much happens when we let go. There is a place and time for everything, but at least for me, this past week has been a stirring lesson in "heart" engagement.
