jenna_rowe A #latergram from the courtyard and mum+ dads bondi airbnb. Water lilies always remind me of my Nanna's incredible garden, particularly the goldfish pond at the bottom of the garden. 12min

jenna_rowe Regramming the work account (@terroir_), completely enamored with a) the quality of light and b) the fine lines of the steel window at #malmotornhuset. Pretty rewarding to see this one finished after watching the Sydney and CPH offices detail up a storm. More than anything I actually really value having an awesome mentor (@cd.rogers) who when photos of finished projects come through spends time with us younger members of the office explaining why things were done as they were. Don't let this go to your head now, CAD-God. 15h

jenna_rowe Great to see the sunshine after these #sydneystorms. A corner of my room was unfortunately damaged with water ingress (hello super soggy floor and walls with a side of paper mâché books etc). The builders who came to assess the damage this morning guessed my profession within two minutes given I used the f-word (fascia). 5d

jenna_rowe One for @will.fung; who shares a mutual love of the platform 5/6 restored timber escalator treads at Town Hall station. 5d

  •   judeaa Those beautiful timber treads were throughout London Underground (I think) until the Kings Cross station fire, when they realised that all the tickets got stuck between them, making for scary kindling. Pity the oyster system was twenty plus years away... 5d

jenna_rowe Thinking of setting up social media for your architecture practice? You all know by now that I'm quite passionate about social media. Join @timhorton_, Shaun Carter of @carterwilliamson_architects, Brett Pollard from @hassellstudio, @janneryan and I next Thursday at Tusculum for the Social Media and Architectural Practice CPD event. I'll be chatting about the importance of community and identity in social media. Looking forward to it - hope to see you there! 6d

jenna_rowe Just a note to say I've nearly sold out of another big bunch of my v necklaces - brass were more popular this batch hence if you're after a copper one luck is on your side. Available in my online shop, whose link lives over on my profile. (Dad you better get cutting!) #whatshehasmade 1w

jenna_rowe So. We've spent the afternoon at The London Hotel undertaking our first official #KnittingKninjas afternoon of knitting and gin and tonics. Hilarious fun and a brilliant combo. And quite frankly, bar boy, when you announce that you aren't judging us, you totally are. Sydney people - can you think of any warm cozy pubs (preferably with crackling fires and leather lounges) in the east for our next meeting? 1w
  •   ssd_studio Def. the Dudley . If you do go , let me know and we can meet and have a vino or G & T - I live about 30 secs away . Fire place is great in winter . x 1w

jenna_rowe Okay so I just finished my first dance class both at @sydneydanceco, and since a lengthy hiatus from my dancing days. I freaking LOVED it for many reasons (the teacher had us doing warm up and pirouette variations to jamiroquai, and the teacher told me 'he could tell I've had training' which I think was actually a nice way of saying my semi-uncoordination was permissible). 1w
  •   jenna_rowe @melwat oh you should totally do it! A lovely older lady named Sue who was dancing next to me was helping me with my wonky leg technique - everyone is super encouraging. I'm going to bring my mum next time she comes to Sydney, she did ballet for a bajillion years too (and still does swan lake in the kitchen whilst cooking for our entertainment) - you reading this @tanialrowe? Totally coming with me. 1w
  •   melwat I like the sound of your mum! I still pirouette in the kitchen 1w
  •   melwat I'll look into it again.. Thanks for the reminder. X 1w
  •   bonaturlig 1w
  •   jacq_6 I'm gradually convincing everyone I can to go to SDCo classes- I love it, and it's very non-judgemental @jenna_rowe @melkbayl 1w
  •   jenna_rowe Well you're doing a great job @jacq_6!! 1w
  •   _ellaleoncio What class did you do?! @jacq_6 @jenna_rowe I'll join you for beginner contemps when I'm next in town! 1w
  •   jenna_rowe @_ellaleoncio Yep contemporary 1w

jenna_rowe My second article for @yellowtrace is up this morning - Designed by Max Kuehne and Daniela Gilsdorf of Hamburg-based design practice Paperlux (who boast clients by the likes of Hermès and Alexander McQueen), GMUND Urban is a new paper range by Southern-Germany paper company GMUND – drawing inspiration from the urban architecture of today. I particularly like the naming conventions of the paper types - 'architect black' was a personal fave! 2w

jenna_rowe Hands down the best pool changerooms I've been to - so light and airy. And I had the entire place to myself (given the rest of Sydney probably thought it was too cold/drizzly for swimming) #PrinceAlfredParkPool 2w

jenna_rowe A wise man once said 'ain't no party like a Jenna craft party'. A wise woman once however retorted 'okay that's enough knitting for one day; time to go to a barefoot bowls/Hawaiian shirt tiki party'. 2w
