Today's #killerwod 🏻3-mile run + a #legday which included jumping lunges, weighted split lunges, weighted squats, speed skaters, weighted hamstring curls, weighted bridge lifts, hamstring curls with the ball, & sidesteps with this resistance band in between sets! #pureEXHAUSTION

If you don't know what to do for #legdays, I recommend #CLX or #BodyBeast legs, or #PlyoExtreme from #21DayFixExtreme (but obviously expect impact with that one)

  •   jenellesummers @taliavero I certainly have days where the whole day my nutrition is "off" but that's not intentional ..it's just life and I'm ok with it bcuz I rarely have those days. I don't count every calorie or macro, but I do have calorie & macro "awareness" with everything I eat so that I can stay in ballpark range but not be obsessive. And I definitely have meals that are "bad" but I don't PLAN them for a certain day... I just make a decision; ..do I feel like splurging on this is worth it right now, or not? Having a planned day each week for a "cheat meal" is more for someone who is far more strict daily than I am. I don't really need a cheat meal once a week bcuz I'm not following any strict diet; I eat healthy 80-90% of the time & that other % isn't cheating in my mind.. It's a part of living & being balanced. When I'm off track, I start journaling intake (with calories & macros in mind) to get back on track. Just my 2 cents🏻 4d

jenellesummers I know not everyone likes the look of muscle but that's ok, I'm not concerned with the look everyone likes️. I just know, for me & my body-type & appetite, I have 2 choices:
1. Eat for muscle gain & fatloss or
2. Eat for fat gain & muscle loss. I choose #1 Either way, we have to EAT.. Food is energy, healing, strength, & brain function. Don't starve yourselfno matter how desperate & impatient you get!
Consider yourself an athlete & eat to perform (80-90% of the time)

I wanted to do a #legday too but only ended up having about 15 minutes for that before I was needed. I'm a mom first & foremost ..and lots of workouts don't happen as planned.. It's ok, #nevergiveup - just do what you CAN!
