jenellesummers When you start to feel like you can't do another rep, pump out 3-4 more controlled reps with your best form.. even after you've hit the #of reps the video does! You have to hit that point of muscle failure to make progress, not just fatigue. 6d

jenellesummers Are results really 80% nutrition, 20% exercise? What do you think?? Idk the exact % but there's no question nutrition is a huge factor.
But that said... When you push yourself physically to do what your brain says you don't have the time or energy to do, you start valuing what you CAN become as a person, with hard work.
When you achieve something physically, you've also just achieved something mentally.

It's extremely empowering. Becoming fit doesn't require that you beat up your body, I think we all know that by now. Just eating right & moderate exercise daily can lead to a healthy life. ️BUT.. accomplishing something physically *challenging* puts you in a positive frame of mind.
And when you're in a positive frame of mind, you handle stress better, you sleep better, you like and respect your body better, you like other PEOPLE better️, and you EAT better So... I'm not so sure exercise is only 20% of the full equation

jenellesummers Please DBL TAP & read all the way thru because I answered the most commonly asked questions My FAVORITE post-lifting shake... Peanut Butter Banana
• 2 cups ice
• 1 cup Unsweetened Vanilla Almond milk
• 1 scoop *Vanilla* Shakeology (TurboSister .com or YOUR Coach)
• 1/2 scoop *Chocolate* Shakeology or additional MUSCLE-BLDG protein of your choice
• 1/2 cup water
• 1/2 Banana
• 2 Tbsp "Just Great Stuff" (crushed organic peanut powder) ~350 calories & at least 27g protein

All sugars & carbs are naturally occurring from fruit & vegetable #SuperFoods in Shakeology which you NEED after a workout more than anymore time in your day. JUST GREAT STUFF: Some stores like Fresh Market, Krogers, possibly #wholefoods , & Amazon .com sell it or you can get it's non-organic equivalent (#PB2) at Target and most grocery stores. ️Regular, all-natural Peanut Butter is great too but after a LIFTING sesh, the whey needs to get to those muscles fast and the fat in Peanut Butter (although a healthy fat) slows the delivery. Go ahead with your regular PB if it's just a shake replacing a meal, or a healthy treat or post-cardio but MEASURE it out as PB is high calorie easy to over-do for some of us (me).

jenellesummers Starbucks offers #CoconutMilk now! It's vegan, non-dairy, lower in sugar & cholesterol free. I haven't researched the ingredients in their coconut milk since I don't have these daily, but I do know the coconut milk option has 10grams of sugar versus a skim milk "skinny" with 15grams sugar (for a grande - a lot of people aren't aware of the sugar content in milk). Yes, coconut milk is higher in saturated fat but it's the type of saturated fat that's processed by the body differently than animal sources of saturated fat. ️In fact, recent studies have shown it could help scorch abdominal fat (I'm not banking on this one️!) 2w
  •   mikihasa I tried it in my quad tall latte and it definitely tastes less sweet than the soy milk they use. One less opportunity to consume soy...woot! 2w

jenellesummers At #wholefoods with Matt & I'm tempted by my strange obsession with protein bars!! Idk why but I could eat them all day long if it were healthy or acceptable to do so!! Quest bars have been my recent obsession but I've gone over a week without any! #progress
p.s. I'm not saying #QuestBars are a problem, I'm saying my addiction was ️. I'm hoping BB someday comes out with a bar, minimally processed the way they make Shakeology So many that are DELISH with low sugar have artificial sweeteners, maltitol, OR are just so TINY (like #larabars for example).
