  •   ewvong How are the sigma lenses? I'm new to the camera world and i wonder the quality of third party lenses vs a Nikon or canon 2w
  •   jdeeeeeeeeee @ewvong this is the only non canon lens I have and I have to say that the quality of this glass is comparable to canon 105mm f/2.8. Focusing on this lens is extremely slow but for macro you use manual focus anyway. Sigma lens are cheaper than canon or nikkor lens for sure. Since sigma reverse engineer their lens to work with canon or Nikon, you will need to make sure that they work with your camera body before purchase the lens. Hope this answer your question. 2w
  •   jdeeeeeeeeee correction: canon 100mm f/2.8 USM 2w
  •   ewvong Exactly what i needed to know. I'm always on manual focus anyways but I've seen some sigma and the price difference is so significant but reviews online seem extremely biased, hard to tell what was genuine. Thanks! 2w
  •   jdeeeeeeeeee you are welcome @ewvong 2w

Cool fact: The name "waxwing" comes from the waxy red secretions found on the tips of the secondaries of some birds. The exact function of these tips is not known, but they may help attract mates.

Bow Valley Ranche became Bow Valley Ranch (or Farm) when Pat Burns
purchased it from William Roper Hull. The ranch served as the holding
and sorting point for his cale en route to his Calgary packing and
distribution facilities. During that time, this historic ranch has played host
to political meetings, visiting dignitaries, a strategic collection point for
livestock, and a family home.

Caption: With a laugh and a look that inspired a cartoon character, the Pileated Woodpecker is what most people think a woodpecker out to be. Its flaming red crest, swooping flight and maniacal call can stop hikers in their tracks. Unfortunately, these magnificent birds are not frequently encountered because they require such extensive areas in which to forage. A pair of breeding Pileated Woodpecker generally requires more than 40ha of mature forest to settle. In this image a male Pileated is feeding his young.
