jakehelmbrecht Muck covered sidewalks. Slippery, congested roads. Overcast, smoggy skies. Cold weather car repair. Yep, home feels just like I remember it. 2w

jakehelmbrecht Before he left for work that day, Garry Grasshopper checked on his sleeping children one last time. He gave his wife a long thoughtful hug instead of the normal peck on the antenna. Garry couldn't put his tarsus on it but he could sense there was something... something different about today. Something big was going to come into Garry's world and he wasn't sure if he was ready for it. 3mon

  •   jakehelmbrecht @miltonkid yeah, it was a beauty. Waited two days for the rain to stop before heading up. 3mon
  •   jakehelmbrecht @miltonkid looks like you had good weather yourself. 3mon
  •   miltonkid Wasn't there a winter weather advisory last week! 3mon
  •   miltonkid Yea I lucked out as well. Love that place 3mon
  •   jakehelmbrecht @miltonkid yeah. They were saying eight inches of snow! Thank god they were wrong. 3mon
  •   mc_jones Would love to know your opinion on the bike! I am considering trading my streetfighter for one. Safe travels. 3mon
  •   jakehelmbrecht @mc_jones I love it. Really torquey, and just plain giggly fun to ride with no gear or passengers. Sport mode rips. Strap on the side cases and you've got a great commuter/tourer. Probably an easy transition for you, coming from the Street Fighter. Although, the position is really more upright. That takes some getting used to. It sits like a dirt bike, which sorta adds to the fun. Helps you look above traffic in the city too. I say go for it. 3mon
  •   mc_jones @jakehelmbrecht I think I may! You are the only one I have found so far that is on social media that really uses a hyperstrada the way it was supposed to. I have ridden one and yes the riding position does take getting used to but my streetfighter did as well. I only got to demo one for less than 10 min so I didn't get a real good feel for the bike. It's good to see that it's capable from a real life example. Have fun and enjoy! 3mon

jakehelmbrecht Moto Corsa. Wow! What a shop. Dipped into Portland for new tires and got world class treatment from Hannah and the Moto Corsa service department. This shop is not only one of the most beautiful and well stocked I've been in, it also has a crazy frenetic energy that is downright contagious. They even let me ride the electric unicycle! I Liked Portland before, starting to fall in love with it now. Thanks @motocorsa . 4mon

jakehelmbrecht Mt Saint Helens. Thirty years after the eruption that sent half of the mountain hurling into the air, life has returned all around. But the whole area still has a strange, spooky energy, like the shockwaves are still rolling around, waiting to push you off the mountain. 4mon
