  •   maharba204 @jacquiecooks mc griddles for the win 17h
  •   moneybee It's really yummy :) When I make it at home, I found the key to the flavor is jimmy dean sausage and Kraft American singles "cheese" (lol, there's a campaign by @tillamook that specifies that American cheese isn't cheese/isn't American). And I have used preformed hash browns or waffle cut fries. 17h
  •   wrini The exact same thing =) 7h

  •   jacquiecooks @katieefred I didn't know that ornamental pepper plants existed. Thanks for the awareness. I will need to find out. 2w
  •   katieefred The floral company I work for sells some that look just like these and they say "not for human consumption" in very fine print on the care card. They are quite cute though 2w
  •   jacquiecooks @katieefred My parents got them from Rona/Home Depot, so I'm thinking it might be for the same purpose then. 2w

jacquiecooks Beautiful red kale. What to make with them? 1mon
  •   jacquiecooks @knpasion Does it taste really kaley? I've tried putting arugula in my smoothies before and the arugula was too overpowering in it. 1mon
  •   jacquiecooks @petergrevstad Yes, I do! And same here! 1mon
  •   jacquiecooks @sawhill69 Actually, that's not a bad idea, but with some meat added to it lol. 1mon
  •   jacquiecooks @madameluc @chrissolace Those are always good choices! 1mon
  •   knpasion @jacquiecooks so, my mom has a recipe book with all these smoothies in it. It started out really basic, when I first looked at the recipe I immediately though "yeah that won't taste good" the recipe was kale leaves, frozen mango, chia seeds (optional) and water, in a blender. It actually came out really good. Now that I'm out of the Navy and no longer getting deployed like I always was (6months out of the year every year) my body and diet would take a huge plunge during my deployment cycle and I'm so glad to be eating healthy again. Sorry side tracked on that side note. So recently this is what I have been making, I don't have any specific measurements I just eye ball it all out. Kale, frozen mango, frozen blue berries, maca powder, whey protein, chia seeds, orac energy greens (it's a powder look it up :) ) and peanut butter. I'm working out a lot more recently and I drink something similar to this everyday and I just feel good now. 1mon
