j_ryde I installed new shocks on the pickup tonight which say they were "tested on the Nurburgring", and may have also come from IKEA? 13h

j_ryde The custom Pentacles Sissy Bar I just finished for @killer_kerry 's Yamaha Bolt looks so damn good. I couldn't help myself and did a quick fender delete and custom license plate bracket before we took the photos too. Gotta get that bike dialed! Check out @thelitas_portland for more pics of a great group of Portland ladies and their motos. 24h

j_ryde I've traveled to many remote parts of the Northwest by motorcycle over the last 20ish years, but not once have I camped by bicycle. All that changes on Saturday, May 28th when I'll be going on the Swift Campout. I'm excited to see what the fuss is about. There will be demos from @limberlostco @stumptowncoffee and @sunliquormfg and it's open to all, but spots are limited. Check out @swiftindustries for deets. (: by me at last year's Sotor Vineyards excursion) 6d

j_ryde Last night I did a test fit on @killer_kerry 's sissybar for her Yamaha Bolt. It's a sweet little custom fab using DOM steel tubing and a replaceable/swappable laser cut pentacles design. I stayed late and finished the welding so I could drop it off at powdercoat first thing this morning. She's just a few days away from being ready to roll! 1w

j_ryde Raw, laser-cut, details for @killer_kerry 's new Moto sissy bar. Stainless and soon-to-be-powdercoated options. Sitting on a piece of kiln-cast glass I made for a new table in the works. #makecoolshit 1w

j_ryde This custom cast-glass and steel table I made is a perfectly understated accent to this living room. Not everything has to be a bold conversation piece. Sometimes being just-right is all it takes. Though if someone asks I might tell them about the hand-fabricated base, or how I kiln-cast the glass myself. Or how the top doubled as a standalone wedding cake display for my sister's wedding... But then is that bragging? Either way, it sure looks nice, doesn't it? (: @kellilamb_ ) 2w

j_ryde I recently helped facilitate the design and customization of the new fleet of @stumptowncoffee commuter "rental" bikes on behalf of @sellwoodcycle. Check out the article on @bikeportland for more deets. Really stoked on how they turned out. They got decked out in @ridepdw racks and baskets, and @nutcasehelmets and @chrome_industries chipped in helmets and bags (not pictured). (: @stumptowncoffee ) 2w

j_ryde For years my BMW has been plagued by the mystery of a fouling left cylinder. I had thought it was a carburetor in need of a rebuild, but once that was done the cylinder still kept fouling the plug. Would you believe it was actually this tiny dime-sized bit of beer can jammed into the coil? Beer can shims can do wonders for bicycles but not so much for motorcycles, and contrary to redneck beliefs they do not increase conductivity. I'm thinking its a Coors... 2w
  •   rachel.ps !!! That's nuts! Glad to hear you solved the mystery. 2w
  •   boyermesh Not Miller High Life? 2w
  •   ali_aht1 Crazy!!! Stil can't wait to see your bike in person! 2w

j_ryde My truck rack is back from powdercoat! You might think it's not much to look at, and I'd take it as a compliment. I designed it to be minimalist and modular. The rear bar is easily removable, so I only have to put it on when I'm hauling steel or my boat. The front part is semi permanent and has integrated bicycle fork mounts and soon to include a detachable tire block for hauling a motorcycle too. Let the summer adventures continue! 2w

j_ryde I'm fond of fine motos, and this particular ride is soon to be getting a new sissy bar custom fabbed by me. It should compliment those Vance & Hines pipes nicely. More to come. 3w
