Chaya DTLA will be offering a special A-5 Wagyu menu from April 16-30. The menus celebrate the highly regarded Japanese ingredient while incorporating traditional Japanese + Franco-Japanese preparations. A-5 wagyu comes from the Kagoshima prefecture, considered one of the top purveyors in Japan.

Growing up in a city as diverse as LA you know of someone who's had a grandma or great aunt visiting from out of the country. You could only hope to get invited to one of her dinners during her visit. I wasn't fortunate enough to ever attend a home cooked Armenian dinner, but I imagine this is what "her" Mante would taste like.
