imanibusby Sometimes after a meat filled weekend,
it's time to change it up and fuel our bodies in other ways (too much protein is REALLY not good for us) so today for lunch I went meatless!

Loving these steamed carrots, right out he microwave (no shame) because it's quick and super easy!

imanibusby On #sundayfunday you can almost always catch me at home, relaxing!
But yesterday was fun!
I want to share out of my outfit go tos: leggings ----especially when I may be feeling lazy! But... If your out and want to dress up a pair of plain black leggings, throw on some thigh-high heeled boots and automatically your outfit has a whole new feel!

This was perfect for literally just comfortably walking around town 🏾🏾. Anyways like his post for more of my outfit tips. 🏾

Starting off with gratitude.

Calling, texting emailing, leaving voice messages for the people you love the most and spreading love.
Its amazing how starting off this way, can really set the tone for your day.
So today I'm not happy because it's Friday, I'm happy because I spent a portion of my day making other people happy.

I'm just kidding! But I love how the 21 Fix Extreme Meal Plan (I'm doing another round!) involves a tablespoon of this a day.

I've even managed to slide in a couple more tablespoons during the day (it just happens!) and its just fine.

As long as I have my PB, and my PB has me, all is right in the world.

imanibusby Something I've learned along the way:
If you need help, ask, and ask right away.
So today, I rushed into the shower and out the door after my workout, to my professors office hours for help.

Don't let your fears and insecurities rule to today. Let your guard down and tell someone that your struggling and you need them.
You will feel better and chances are they will appreciate you for it!

imanibusby I'm back at it!
and finished the 21 Day Fix Extreme :) The simple formula I needed to get it done:
Q: Feeling angry? A: Workout
Q: Feeling anxious? A: Workout
Q: Feeling upset? A: Workout
Q: What about hurt? A: Workout
Q: Sluggish? A:Workout

I heard somewhere that these 30 min workouts are literally 2% of a day. With all the benefits I get from my daily workouts thats a no brainer for me!

imanibusby One thing I can ever have enough of is bananas!
I look forward to my Shakeology every morning because of it! (Too bad I already drank mine for the day ☹️) Here's my recipe:
1/2 banana
1 scoop chocolate Shakeology
2 shakes of cinnamon
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
5 large ice cubes
1/4 cup water

imanibusby Looking like a person (getting dressed, putting on makeup) has become uber important to me,

Especially since I realized that it makes me happy! I'm deff for doing all things that make me feel #badass. Now off to tackle this pile of schoolwork!

imanibusby For the longest Monday's gave me anxiety.


Because it was always the day that I knew I was supposed to start, but I never did.
What do I mean?
Well, if I knew that letting several Monday's pass me by would cause me to gain enough weight to make getting dressed in the morning the hardest part of my day, I would have started working on my health and fitness earlier.
Does this sound like you?
My advice! Don't let another Monday pass you by. This is time of the year when most people GAIN weight (7-10lbs to be exact), so by starting now, we can beat the extra chub- or at least maintain our current weight.

Lets work on this together in my new challenge group. I am only opening up 5 spots because I really want to work personally with you.

imanibusby *confession post*
Midday talks with my mom are THE best. Today we talked about even though we go through seasons of hard times and frustration, our lives are so much better, because of the work we have done on yourselves, because of Beachbody.

I have to confess that I find it hard to relate to others sometimes because I sought out a solution for health and fitness.
I did it because of my insecurities, because of the way I felt in my own skin, and because I couldn't afford to get a whole new wardrobe as my clothes were literally shrinking right before my eyes.
My situation wasn't perfect, I didn't have a free schedule just open and waiting to be filled with workouts and healthy meals. I had to fit those things into my already jam packed life, but I did it because I needed to.
Today I encourage you to push past perfect to get what you want/need.
I DON'T CARE if you ever purchase a challenge pack and join a challenge with me, that's not why I'm doing this. Seriously.

I'm posting this to remind you that if you PUSH PAST PERFECT and go for whatever you are wanting for in life, no matter what, you will come out better in the end.

I had to get this shot in the way back from the dining hall, while holding the 7 bananas I brought back for my Shakeololgy.
I admit I looked like a banana lady. But if people on knew how amazing chocolate Shakeology with half of a banana and a teaspoon of PB is. OMGee, so good!

But for me the grind doesn't stop. I am so much on a mission to help as many people as possible before the end of this year.
My goal is to add more badass women to my team of Fear Crushers and help as many people as possible start their fitness journeys.

To do that I have to first invest in myself to be the best I can for others.
