ignoblin "When Mama (or Aquaman) Won't Let You Play the Fooseball and Get That High Quality H2O" and Fun Facts: ... Or Beer, anyways apologize for that Wa wa Water Boy quote, I'm sure I've made Adam Sandler proud. I'm sure many people are tuned into that big American fooseball match, but if you're like me, then you got a craving for more of those Deadpool-Fun Facts. Aquaman hates fun facts, Aquaman got pew pewed in the face, don't be an Aquaman:
16) Deadpool was surprisingly married many times before finally settling down with the runaway fiancé of Dracula, Princess of the underworld. At one point he even had a romantic affiliation with Black Widow, Yelena Belova.
17) He has a daughter named Eleanor. He was seduced by a woman named Carmelita Camacho. Wade found out he had daughter, but only after Carmelita had been killed. Realizing Eleanor had been abducted, he rescued her. Wade gave his friend Emily Preston (from S.H.I.E.L.D) custody of his daughter to keep her paternity a secret, and moved in next door to be close to her.
18) Deadpool’s only fear is Cows, and only weakness is Kittens and the Anti-Regenerative Ray. This is quite funny to see his fear played out in his Deadpool Team-Up with Hell Cow... Yes there is a Marvel character called Hell Cow.
19) Deadpool and Harley Quinn are the most popular pair to be written into comic book fanfiction cross-overs. Their insanity is seen by many to be more well matched than that of The Joker and Harley.
20) The uncanny similarities between Wade Wilson/Deadpool, and the actor to play him in the upcoming movie; Ryan Reynolds.
a) Wade Wilson's physical attributes are nearly identical to Ryan Reynolds; both sharing the same age, height, weight, hair, and eye color. Deadpool himself has compared his looks to the actor in the comics.
b) Both are Canadian, both share a similar sense of humor and both have alliterative 3 part names; Wade Winston Wilson and Ryan Rodney Reynolds.
c) Ryan Reynolds started acting the year Deadpool was introduced into Marvel Comics.

ignoblin "Wanna Make Out?" Hmm... I find this image an interesting topic for my #DeadFebruary . Deadpool and Harley Quinn, they are minor characters from the 90's that both had a very dedicated but small following, in 2016 they are both so wildly popular that there is an almost over-saturation of these characters in media. The thing I notice is for as popular as they've become, not too many people know them in depth, it seems they have become popular from their schtick. What do you think, one dimensional characters that are a running gag? Or is there more? I happen to think that Deadpool is an intricate character that is often done wrong by writers forced to add him into their separate titles. I suspect the same of Harley but to be honest I read a lot less DC, I did enjoy me some Suicide Squad though. Also despite the graphic I do not think Harley can "Break the Fourth Wall," anybody know for certain? Who would love to read an actual team up comic with these two? Remember in the 90's when they made the amalgam comics, like Dark Claw (Batman and Wolverine) or Hyena (Joker and Sabertooth), imagine the amalgam of Deadpool and Harley Quinn, what would that character be named? Anyways, I'd love to hear some thoughts on the matter. 20h
  •   papertiger16 I think the Deadpool following has been growing for a while at least the last decade in general. Just the initial look at him he has swords, guns, and all kinds of weapons so your hitting a lot of likes there. The humor usually goes over well with most as well. He was in mvc3 so that also could've introduced him to a lot as well. To me deadpool is more stand alone where Harley is a lot more of a great side item like Mac & cheese. Harley is a great compliment to a series or another character but she has always felt more like a fan service after a point versus being a true story driven character which I think suicide squad is going to try and change. I'm excited for both but I think deadpool will be the better movie over all. 19h
  •   ignoblin @papertiger16 Great answer man. Yes, I absolutely believe a bad ass crazy ninja guy with a warm fuzzy heart, and can be a dick in a comedic way is very suiting to the fan populace these days. Tony Stark was never as much of a dick until Robert Downy Jr got a hold of him... Now the comics emulate what RDJ made the character into. I'm curious if Ryan Reynolds can pull that off too?! Yes, Deadpool started showing up in games early, and I think he just keeps getting momentum. Now as for Harley being a side chick, I just don't know enough about it but if she runs into the same problems Deadpool does, then I totally think that it all depends of the hands she's in, the creative staff. I've seen great writers do amazing things with shit characters, especially in DC. However when a character is written as a gimmick, I think it will mildly entertain those who are indifferent but will disappoint true fans. As for the movies, they both have some great potential but I'm still more excited for Deadpool. If Suicide had King Shark in it I'd be more excited... Why? I dunno, he's a shark, he's the king, what's not to like?! 14h
  •   papertiger16 DC at least seems to try and stay true to the lore where Marvel just goes for what's gonna sell. While Antman was a "fun" movie I feel like they just completely glossed over a lot of missed story by basically skipping over Hank Pym frankly sometimes you just have to do things that aren't gonna be popular wolverine movies should've been rated r from the get go for it to be good. If your gonna make a "nerdy" movie then make it nerdy or true to your fan base don't try and hit as many demographics as you can 14h
  •   ignoblin @papertiger16 Hmm I agree but I think DC is pretty guilty of pandering to the crowd as well. I suppose there would not be much R-rated DC mind you. I think both companies are trying though, to learn from the mistakes of the 90's and a rocky start. I do agree about being true to the fans and being true to the characters, and the fact that The Deadpool Movie stuck to its R-rating even after kickback, all good signs. 12h
  •   papertiger16 Remember there have been a few movies based on dc that you just don't think about like red 4h

ignoblin "Nature Reclaims"

The Poison of choice and time takes over and makes us weary, the strain takes hold and remakes us, cells die and are replaced until the previous version was nothing but a completely different entity that stirs vague remembrances, the brain doesn't reboot but scrambles circuitry until the power supply depletes, the computer shuts down, the body is no longer a motor, kinetic motion halts for a single moment, potential changes, the wheels have stopped but then they start turning, backwards motion, a lifetime unfolds in reverse order, the images bring back every moment in a rush, the synergy of time and space show you the magic trick, nature reclaims, you are born again, an organism of chaos that is bonded into order, a precious and fragile miracle, would you choose differently this time or are you doomed, cyclical?

ignoblin "Chicks Dig Deadpool" and Fun Facts:

When life gives me lemons, I might as well talk about Deadpool some more. Deadpool's whole body became made out of cancer cells, making his appearance a little hard to look at, just how grotesque he was really depended on who was drawing him... It varies from crunchy critter to Ryan Reynolds in make-up good looks. There was even a time he was movie star good looking and called himself Thom Cruz. In spite of his looks and sometimes annoying nature, chicks seem to dig Wade, from Copycat, to Siryn to Outlaw, to Death herself, he has found small bits of love. Goes to show even a guy like Wade can find someone who can see past the surface, the show, the brokenness and see something special. Anyways, here are some more fun facts:
11)The most persistent bromance in comic book history exists in Deadpool’s unfailing pursuit to make Spider-Man his best friend.
12) While generally considered to be a “morally flexible” individual with a taste for blood; Deadpool has a soft spot for children, animals and those in need. He once saved a bus full of orphans and nuns from the Hulk.
13)The 2nd time Deadpool died, 4 false versions of him appeared, each representing different aspects of himself. While the first 3 versions of himself were Superheroic, Psychopathic and Comedic, the 4th version was only capable of saying the phrase “No Pickles”.
14) He can not only survive through nuclear explosions, re-emerge after being burnt to ash, and survive beheading; He also regularly donates internal organs to those in need, which immediately regenerate.
15) Deadpool has a whipping boy/sidekick named Weasel, a spastic and neurotic Arms Dealer. *More To Come This Dead-February!* - IGnoblin

  •   ignoblin @gurriapu Hey it's my pleasure, I've always enjoyed the love/hate relationship between Spider-Man and Deadpool. In so many Deadpool issues he's seeking to fit in but most heroes and villains judge him for being unpredictable and reckless, but it creates some great story lines. 22h

ignoblin "Truth of Heart"

Looking for some writing inspiration I was looking for some fantasy based images to be my muse. I got lost in this image and it gave me a few things to ponder. Sometimes it's hard to understand the truth of what you see from a distance. Sometimes you are to close to something that it's hard to appreciate the depth. It's easy to make a judgement call but what if your perspective is misaligned? All I can say is I've made mistakes based on all these things and I also know what the receiving end feels like. So the best we can do is be open, be thoughtful, be empathetic and be patient with people, and with ourselves. Where one might only see the grim face of sorrow, a closer look might reveal the Angels the will guide your way through. Just a thought... Have a good night.

ignoblin "Market Research" and Fun Facts:

Well I am under the weather and fighting off a cold, so forgive me for sharing another old school toy shot, this time Deadpool is reading all his back issues to learn his part for the upcoming film. Reading Deadpool is the only way to know him and I suggest starting with the early stuff, which had a rocky start but while he was so far beneath the radar that they threatened to cancel him with every issue, a small but loyal fan base and some key writers got to make a comic where they could do pretty much whatever they wanted without interference from the big wigs at marvel... If you don't have time for that, here are some more fun facts:
6) Wade Wilson’s childhood hero was Captain America. Because of this, and due to a bond formed through them both being Government experiments, Steve Rogers is one of the only Marvel characters to treat Deadpool with respect.
7) Deadpool is one of the few characters to appear alongside almost every other Marvel character. Check out Deadpool Team-Ups for ridiculous fun.
8) Breaking the fourth wall, he constantly references popular culture; including currently relevant or amusing topics that are happening while his comic is being written. The only other character in Marvel I'm aware of that also did this was She-Hulk, but it was a temporary thing.
9) He has been known to defeat his opposition (even previously undefeated Marvel villains) just by driving them crazy with his incessant chattering. This is how he got the title “The Merc with the Mouth”; a trait only exacerbated by being driven insane during the Weapon-X experimentation.
10) Before becoming Deadpool, Wade Wilson fell in love with a young prostitute named Vanessa Carlysle. After discovering he was terminally ill with cancer, he left her, instead of forcing her into a life with a dying man. They crossed paths later in life when Vanessa became the shape-shifting mutant known as Copycat.

ignoblin "Professor Bad-Touch" and Fun Facts:

One of my very first Deadpool toy photos, now Here are some fun facts that will make you sound like a Deadpool expert.
1) When Deadpool was first developed, the similarities to DC’s Deathstroke were so uncanny that they decided to name him Wade Wilson as a joke. Deathstroke’s name is Slade Wilson.
2) He was first introduced into the comic New Mutants #98 as a Villain. He was never meant to become the character he is today.
3) Raised by an abusive military father after his mother died of cancer, he fell into the wrong crowd where eventually a friend of his disarmed his father and killed him.
4) Wade Wilson gave himself the name Deadpool. He joined the Weapon-X project to obtain the healing factor in an effort to cure his cancer; the treatment not only advanced his cancer but the healing factor meant he wouldn’t die from it. Moved into a Workshop, where he and other failed government test subjects were tortured and experimented on, the “Dead Pool” was a betting pool run between the inmates. Wade was given survival odds of 1000 to 1. He beat the odds.
5) He is a proud Canadian, often referencing his home country and using terms in metric. He has been known to break the fourth wall to tease American readers, refusing to convert things into Imperial measurements.

ignoblin Ha... Random passive aggressive post. When stress is high and you are trying to sort things out in your life only to get shelved, it makes you feel unimportant. Now I'm not a monster... I can be quite understanding, I have a pre-set of giving the benefit of the doubt to others but being a fucking door mat is not in my inventory of things I do for others. All this chasing people around feels like rejection so I'm not going to be chasing my imaginary tail for anyone's benefit. All that being said, I am still sitting here sprouting grey hairs and wishing everyone a fantastic day... I'm living vicariously through you baby! 5d
  •   gurriapu Love the pic!! And yeah, I totally get it! 4d
  •   ignoblin @mad_phoenix thank you, it seems a bunch of shit found its way into my head and I didn't have a lot of ears to strain it through, so I went the dramatic route and aired my vague grievances to no one in particular on social media, hurray. Besides, you can't be boring, you had me thinking about the existence of abandoned shopping carts earlier... What stories they could tell. 4d
  •   ignoblin @francas007 Hi, I can be a nice Ian, and sometimes I can be a frustrated Ian who needs to articulate his frustrations to feel better. Might only be a band-aid solution but so it goes. I can deal just fine with my own shortcomings but when my goal is to deal with those shortcomings in others and I get ignored, it bothers me. 4d
  •   ignoblin @darrencroft No luck palo, tomorrow is another day. Maybe I'll have some good to go with it, only time will tell. Cheers and thanks buddy. 4d

ignoblin "Do or Donut, There Is No Try"

This is what happens when a certain co-player (who may just play the drunken priest of Thor) insists on sneakily hiding Tim Bits in your Dice chest. It might seem like a sneaky thing to do but he knows I like the chocolate ones the best. Then I decided to decorate with my most treasured old school dice and make it a modern art piece. I might grumble about sticky dice, the truth is that when you are packing up because the game is over and you go to put your dice away... Well, it's nice to get tasty presents. So my suggestion is always choose to be silly and randomly kind.
5d
  •   zombielilly Dunno exactly what u mean so I'll answer both things... Have a smokey set I love, & my FAV dice on its own is a giant d20 I'd whip out for real badass monsters, for effect and U? 2d
  •   ignoblin @zombielilly You answered perfectly. Well my very first set are still my babies and what I use to play characters which are the purple set seen above. When I run games I use other sets, but most commonly some Cthulhu glow in the dark green ones. Even though who plays in the dark? So that part isn't really utilized, but still neat dice. 2d
  •   zombielilly I've seen the glow in the dark cthulhu ones u mentioned, very cool. Sometimes we played by candlelight... those might have been good then. Ever play w a soundtrack? I often used the Gregorian chants tho my friends liked the Star wars soundtrack too... so did I just thought it wasn't medieval enough. 2d
  •   ignoblin @zombielilly Absolutely, setting the mood is great, I have a whole gaming playlist I like to put on random, including Nox Arcana (mostly instrumental), Mediaeval Baebes, Loreena McKennitt and I even found bands like Rammstein work very well for it. Gregorian Chants are great! 2d
  •   zombielilly Those are great choices! 2d

ignoblin "Pool-O-Vision" Part 2: Maybe Deadpool should take his meds, the world being much different than his perception of it. I know it's happened to me before and that's a scary thing... Good thing he has that Weapon X Grade healing factor, and is still a deadly mercenary... So it looks like he has a handle on things. - IGnoblin 5d

  •   gurriapu Awesome pic. Love the Taskmaster figure. I'm actually eagerly awaiting the DP movie. Haven't read much about him (other the first app in NM 98 and early XForce) but what I've seen so far the movie does look brilliant. As Ian says, hope there's more than what the trailer shows tho. @doctornvrmore 4d
  •   ignoblin @gurriapu Well thank you my friend, also Tasky is my main man and I hope I get my sticky paws on the new Taskmaster figure coming out. As for the reading of Deadpool, for as much credit as Liefield is taking, he hadn't shaped Deadpool into the greatness he became, in the early stages it was another 90's rip off. It's what happened through many pairs of hands later that made greatness. So let's see if the character can again be the underdog passed through new hands and see if it again gives greatness. 4d
  •   gurriapu Agreed. I got to get myself some of those post-Liefield books. But wouldn't know where to begin. Know any good DP compilation?? 4d
  •   ignoblin @gurriapu Hmm, maybe you should start with the "Cable and Deadpool" omnibus, which might be called "Deadpool and Cable." To be honest it's far more Deadpool than Cable and it's their interplay that's amusing. I honestly say, going through the "Deadpool Classics" is really the best route. Everything in order, from shitty origin to some solid gold. His beginnings have so many garbage D-listers and ridiculous story lines that it has to be good. Yes there is some hit or miss and I might be biased but it's worth it. Just pick up a new classic trade every so often and you won't be sad. 4d
  •   gurriapu Thanks. I'll look it up 4d

ignoblin "Pool-O-Vision" Part 1 It is February, and I know a lot of you have been high on January of El Antmano and a Feb o the Web is under way, however my route should be bringing you lots and lots of Deadpool, this is his month to me and finally, it is my hope that he joins the cinematic universe as was intended. So expect some silly, some fun facts and I'll even go through crates to find my Dead-legion. Did you know that besides the voices in his head, Deadpool has been known to see the world around him in almost a hallucinatory state? The things he sees are often far less dangerous or far more dangerous than the actuality. In some comics this has been referenced as 'Pool-O-Vision.' - IGnoblin 5d

ignoblin "All Hail The Crit King"

This is what happens when your gaming group hits a town and spends a lot of time customizing equipment, talking to city officials, drawing up documents, picking spells and getting rations for a long journey into enemy territory... Meanwhile you are a giant bug, monk and assassin with no equipment and no time for silly humanoid titles... Boo they sleep like for hours in a row... How boring, what's a bug to do? Create a circle of Crit power? No... That's the stupid human playing the character. Oh, the giant bug has decided on meditation and the peaceful pursuit of creating tiny rock gardens as a spiritual means to organize his thoughts. Meanwhile, the rest of the party didn't realize the damn albino, giant bug has been leaving tiny rock gardens behind them as a means to track the heroes... Uh oh!? Should have listened to the Priest of Thor and taken up alcoholism. He keeps convincing Pale Shade to imbibe the poison water in exchange for stuff, sneaky enabler of Thor. Oh, this was a game from Sunday, days since then have been less good, good night, be well, sweet dreams.

ignoblin "I Know What You Meant... Bend Over"

Well today was the kind of day where it felt like a series of critical fails in real life. So I have decided to go to my happy place, the one place in my head bringing me something good to fill my bucket, where I can make world's rise and fall and I can get lost in the nuance of imagination and creativity. I actually don't like the term Dungeon Master in regards to me running games, I prefer the term Storyteller. (In the other context, that's a different kind of post). I prefer Storyteller because I first and foremost care about telling a story, not giant slogs in dungeons that are centered on fight mechanics, treasure grabs and monsters of the day. The world I've created is one that I intend to use as a world I write stories about, the purpose of playing games in it is first, for me to discover it's workings with a fine tooth comb and have a chance to work out the kinks, secondly it's to get the input from the people playing characters there and see if I can capture their hearts and minds with setting, background and story. If they love their characters, I consider this a success. As a DM I can be sometimes a bit cruel with story elements but I never want my player characters to die, I want them to learn. Not only that but for as special as I made the world and the non-player characters in my setting of Iseris, I want my players to be the special and important part of the story. I have put my players through all sorts of shit, yet they get wrapped up in it all. I have bent all the mechanics of an old system so they might be exactly what they want to be, the things they couldn't be in other games run under other rules by other DM's. That being said, the system I've created makes for some epic success and some epic failure, the PC's learning that fighting comes with consequence and that each situation can come with many different ways to handle their problems. I reward them for playing the character they've created rather than playing to win. I know I've done well when I get told... "That was awesome." (Which is also nice to hear in the other context). That is what being a DM or Storyteller is all about in my books.

ignoblin "Oh Deer God..."
Part of being an effective storyteller is taking what might have been a bad idea, or even a joke and making it into something, let me tell you a story:

There is an old story about "THE UNIVERSE AND THE ONE TRUE SOURCE" actually living one day upon Iseris in the mortal form of a deer. The God was said to simply go about his day as a deer, eating foliage, communicating with other deer and escaping predators. However late in the day, this Deer said to be inhabiting the ultimate power in all creation, approached three men on the road and asked them about the meaning of life. The men didn't answer the question and instead thought to worship the deer, asked the deer for boons and asked the deer to destroy their enemies. The Deer gave them some form of wisdom that made them cry and seek out meaning in their lives. Returning to their town and telling others of this wisdom, only 7 other men and women listened to the wisdom of the three men and sought out meaning in their lives. However all the other townsfolk didn't heed their wisdom but instead sought out the deer to ask for boons and for it to destroy their enemies. The townsfolk told the deer that they would forsake all other gods and make this creature their new idol, a "Deer God." (Oh dear god!) The deer told them that the gods are his children too and that he has already given them everything they asked for, and went to return to the wilderness. The townsfolk felt no different and couldn't feel the deer's blessing, having ignored his wisdom, so they cursed at the deer and shot it with arrows and cleaved it with hatchets and began to tear at it's flesh with their bare hands. Eating the bodily flesh of ultimate power, these towns people were all transformed into Demi gods themselves with the power to create their own boons and destroy their own enemies but they turned on each other quickly and were said to have destroyed each other. It is said that the three men and the seven more folk who listened became the most important beings in bringing enlightenment to all of the races upon Iseris. [Continues in Comments.

  •   stevenewc I must circulate this as a Truth, as in fact the one Truth that has become lost in time, but with underground followers who in fact have sects around the world and hold a shdaoey but True power. Are there any artifacts i may quote as examples of this Truth... 1w

  •   ignoblin @stevenewc Ah yes the hidden truths lie within all of creation, sometimes a cautionary tale is all that is needed to spur those in search of hidden truth... ignoblin Well I'd like to thank my good buddy @taroncochrane for inviting me out last night to McNally's to check out @thesteadies ! I had a great time, the music was great and the conversation was wonderful. Some Island Rock was just what I needed on a very warm January evening. Cheers! Check out my friend Taron and this band put on a solid and entertaining show, these are all talented people. 1w
  •   ignoblin Thanks for the great beverages and friendly staff @mcnallys 1w

  •   gurriapu Looks cool. Wonder what passes for a "warm January eve" in Saskatchewan, lol. 1w
  •   ignoblin @thesteadies Absolutely I did, all three of you are very talented and it was a great performance, great way to spend a Friday night. 1w
  •   ignoblin @gurriapu That's a great question, it was +3 C so what is that, like 37 F, which is almost unbelievable here for the coldest month, still only -3 C here right now, we've been spoiled this winter. 1w
  •   gurriapu Amazing!! We should've around 6°C here but right now temp outside it's like 16°C. This winter has been anything but winter so far, lol. 1w
  •   ignoblin @gurriapu 6 C is your winter... Dude's you're living in a paradise! 16 degrees and I'd have my shorts on already Hmm well last year on this day it was -12 here, the year before was -24... I'm told the average is -9 to -20c for this day. That's why we are pretty much all cowboy Vikings It's +3 and melting time to pillage some beer and start the BBQ! 1w

ignoblin "Words...": A thousand words are displayed like art, cut into a thousand pieces by a thousand thousand minds. They tell you they are just words and that there is nothing more than that. Words are free, they said, as if they were in such abundance that it had flooded the marketplace of your minds, each not worth even a penny from these beggar poets. "Words words words" they said, like the future has brought meaning to hearts without nary a sound, without having to waste time on the broken medium of literature. How would the world know distant hearts, lost ideas and gentile thoughts, I cried. "Oh," they said, "but we can't trust such things in a world like this," as if the words were used against them like bullets rending flesh from body or a hatchet cleaving skull. Well what are we to do? Can we share a haiku with out eyes, can we represent a sonnet with our actions, can lyrics be a thing represented through code? Do we not counsel ourselves with these same words like a soundtrack of bold ideals in our very thoughts? No, we must reduce, we must downsize until we can communicate by copy and paste, until the world becomes one giant, unfunny meme or a mislabeled quote from a man who didn't check his facts. The best moments, the bare moments, the times we get to truly touch each other when our bodies are merely vessels and rendered limbless, it was done with a word... Then another, then some more until you've created a small collection for the thousand thousand you know, arranged, sorted and placed in neat little piles, shipped from brain, to tongue, to hand, and received by heart and mind until... Something rare and magical occurred, a seed was born, nurtured with the respect of understanding... Understanding none of us are all that different and relaying empathy across fields and rivers and skies, for a thousand thousand miles... A seed became love.... And still, love itself became shrouded... [continued in comments] 1w

ignoblin Ha... I can't help but look at this kid and kind of adore him. He was a dork, who managed to just go around being oblivious to his goofy ways. He was a nice kid, loved heavy metal, loved that piece of garbage gold 1980 Z28 Camaro, he wasn't good with girls but he was kind. He was the sorta guy who always wanted to make you laugh, even at his own expense. He believed it was acceptable to drink coffee all night long and then go to a garage sale to buy an outfit just for a funny story to tell. He wanted adventures and stories, that never changed. If I could go back there and talk to him, I think about what I might say to him. I'd probably tell him to believe in himself, to go for everything that matters and forget the things that don't. I'd tell him not to waste his time wrapped up in things that went nowhere or he knows are not good for him, have the courage to risk disappointing others rather than to always disappoint himself. However I suppose it's his journey that makes him, his mistakes, his scars and his heartbreak. He got some things right. It didn't work out anything like he expected but he never quit being a dreamer, being funny, drinking coffee all night long, listening to heavy metal, being awkward with girls... He still misses that piece of crap Camaro though. #tbt #camaro #z28 #shittycamera #olddays #goofball #metal #coffee #awkwardwithgirls #funny 2w
  •   spideymayne And Z28 is one of my dream cars. Haha 2w
  •   rogercola That was definitely one Bitchin' Camaro. It's the things will learn along our journey which makes us who we are now. Would i share this with past probably not. I like this journey I'm on now. I got to learn about Squirrel Girl and I run the Nickelback fanclub. 2w
  •   toys2money Cool car bro 2w
  •   ignoblin @snarkandsass Oh yes, I used to have a lot of hair, I even used to have it dyed red, black and braided it for a metal show I played in. It got longer than here, however it was time to chop it off when it started getting thin on top. I miss the feeling of long hair sometimes but not necessarily the work involved. 2w
  •   ignoblin @matthewmutanthands Dude, that's a beautiful thing to hear, thanks for sharing. Your daughter has an excellent guide so she will grow up to be amazing and do amazing things, just add patience to your own list as there will be rough patches as with any kid becoming their true selves. 2w
  •   ignoblin @spideymayne that is a feel good message man, thank you. Realizing your worth is not an easy road but it's always worth it. Also I think you are awesome and deserve that dream car. You know the what of a dream, now you need to know the why and it will happen! Thanks again! 1w
  •   ignoblin @rogercola That car was a focal point of that part of my life, it's the thing that took me on my adventures and I always attracted other people to be my company. There was good, bad and other, all around a strange boy and the car he loved. We all took this journey and the who I am now is lucky for the like minded awesome people, willing to learn about squirrel girl, listen to him bitch and share his excitement for nerdy ass games, all while dissing that choad known as Chad Kroeger. 1w
  •   ignoblin @toys2money Yes sir thank you, it had a V8 350 cubic inch motor, duel exhaust blue bottles, bucket seats, sunroof, air induction on the hood, a strobe light I installed in the back window (very dangerous actually) and a CD player hooked up to two 6 by 9 inch speakers and a 10" bazooka bass cannon in the trunk. By today's standards not very special, but to me it was. It was a 20 year old car when I bought it but I loved it, loved it enough to keep fixing it, previous owner didn't look after it well. 1w

ignoblin "Marvel Now: The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl Vol. 1" (3)

Sometimes shit happens, the odds are against you and you feel almost paralyzed from the no-win situation you're in. So what do you do? You could give up, just not try and you will be accepting all the bad that comes with it. You'd be admitting you don't have it in you to give it a shot. The other option is you can try your best, give it a shot, look at the problem from different angles and for all your effort, it still might not work out but in spite of the disappointment, you get rewarded with the satisfaction of knowing you tried. On the other hand, you might succeed, you might get a reward for your efforts and the satisfaction of knowing you're a tough SOB/DOB. As bad as it might all seem, sometimes things aren't even close to as bad as our imaginations, fears and inherent paranoia can make them. So do right by yourself, life is worth a try and rewards will come. Thanks Squirrel Girl for showing this in just one panel and one speech bubble... show off. Oh, this comic just might have Galactus the Devourer of Worlds, funny conversation about Grammer, a planet full of nuts and a body suit made of living squirrels. To be honest not my favorite art out there but I'm enjoying the read and the silliness. Okay, keep scrolling, other people need you!
