ig.community Ueli Steck doing his thing in Kandersteg, Switzerland. Today he showed me his all new show that he'll tour Europe with in 2016, and it's as impressive as what he's been up to. His Annapurna solo and 82 Summits is just part of it. There is some very special footage that will blow minds. Keep an eye on www.explora.ch for tour dates and venues. #FeeltheAlps #theoutdoorlens @mountainhardwear @petzl_official #petzlgram

Normal Instagram & Photography
ig.community Everyone was focused on the blood moon, they forgot once the moon was eclipsed the Milky Way was going to put on a show too!

Another amazing night at Crater Lake! Photo by @matthewnewmanphotography

The next time the blood moon will fall on the same day as the closest super moon of the year won't happen again until the year 2033.

Lunar eclipses are really easy to capture, you can do it with a point and shoot and tripod. So, we will be seeing a ton of eclipse shots in the coming week on IG.

ig.community Photo @ladzinski / As we are seeing posted all over the social feeds, understandably so, tonight was the #SuperMoon #LunarEclipse. If you were lucky enough to see it I'm sure you would agree that it was absolutely incredible. This photo here is an in-camera #DoubleExposure, which is essentially photographing two photos onto a single frame, all in camera. It's an old film trick and in cases like this the perfect way to create an unusually cool effect. This was shot this evening at the top of #LoganPass in #GlacierNationalPark Montana while here on assignment. Wherever you may be, I hope you got to enjoy this rare and beautiful occasion this evening!

ig.community "The Green in Greenland"

Well, our first night ever shooting in Greenland was one that will stay with us forever. This is what I imagined when I thought of Greenland. Aurora, wilderness camping, massive icebergs (that one behind the tent is about 350 metres high). Dream come true. Great to have good friends @stephendesroches and @davebrosha here to share the moments too! Check out their pages for their take on an amazing night out at the top of the world!

Dave and I are taking a group back next year. You can click here to find out more: http://bit.ly/intphotoworkshops

About the photo: Self-portrait, Ilulissat Icefjord, Greenland.

ig.community “To know Nepal is to love her. The majesty of her mountains inspires awe and reassuring perspective…” Experience Mount Everest through the eyes of climber, photographer and artist @renan_ozturk, who has spent the last ten years making annual trips to this mountain climbing mecca. In Renan's latest Steller story, he shares his perspective of the world’s highest mountain, the people that inhabit it and the people who are drawn to climb it. Check out “10 Years Below Everest”, now featured on Steller as a part of the @everestmovie project. #EverestMovie 5mon

ig.community Mt. Rainier making its own weather. Here a lenticular cloud hovers over Mt. Rainier in morning. The saying goes "bad weather makes good photos". It's definitely true here. Bonus that it was so calm allowing the perfect reflection. Photo by @materas
