ieatblog It was only a matter of when, not if, so it doesn't surprise me that Instagram will be introducing sponsored posts (aka ads) into your stream. Looks like Australia will be the lucky guinea pigs to test it out first. For me personally, it will be only a minor annoyance, or maybe not at all. Ads are everywhere, on TV, magazines, every single website you can imagine, and nowadays apps. No reason why @instagram shouldn't try to profit from this huge platform they have. Others will disagree with me but that's the reality of business. Your choice is whether to stay on this platform or move on. Eventually we may all move onto another platform but for now I like Instagram too much to worry about a few ads. #instagram 2h

ieatblog Fried tofu is one way that I really enjoy it. This one was coated in a light batter and stir fried with salt and pepper. Really tasty. Not sure of the health benefits of the tofu in this dish anymore haha. Probably outweighed by all the salt and MSG. :-) #ieatblog 2d

  •   winceeee @ieatblog You're right -- it is one of the best things! And you get to have a big selfish crab to yourself if you make it at home haha. Yes oil needs to be hot and tempura batter key. I also drizzled some more batter over the crab with a chopstick after its been in there for about 20-30sec (so that new batter can stick to existing batter) to add extra crunchy bits on top. No experience of oil explosion for me in my attempts? Think it's normally okay if you coat the crab with flour first before dipping it into the batter. I def recommend ppl try! :D 6d
