i_am_heather1 Progress! Anybody know how to get to the inner thigh? Currently on one leg day a week (I think that's all I could manage... ) and thinking of adding something extra to help out. Left forearm is just feeling strong enough after my strain to lift my usual though feeling twangs and aches after certain exercises (like my favourite military press.) I have 3 months to train for #toughmudder and I'm away from my gym for one month. This is the first time I'm using Instagram to ask for help...   •   i_am_heather1 @kimjanefox that's what I'm thinking I should do. How far do you space them to avoid walking like Mr softy all week? Do you roll afterwards? I've not gone super strict on my diet - no whites; bread potatoes, sugars, desserts, dairy, just well portioned proteins and good carbs sweet potatoes or rice, but have switched to 3 meals rather than 5 since in Sydney due to office life. I'm wary of people thinking I eat all the time :( I still haven't given up my whisky on a weekend. Ahhh! Not excuses, just a summary of me right now haha. 3d
  •   i_am_heather1 @kimjanefox I've never rolled... It sounds horrifying. Haaa! Carbs are equal throughout the day with each meal. I've not just started cutting those- that's been for a while. I get a hard and painful tummy if I eat white bread, cheese, milk, potato even white rice (but I still eat white rice...) and just generally try and avoid cakes and ice cream; my two favourite things haha! That sounds like a workable split. I've never done chest day - only shoulders and arms. What kind of things do you do? Xxx 3d

  •   nonnyp10 Alternate your squats to close and wide ones @i_am_heather1 and do side lunges maybe but also some high intensity plyo so explosive jumping lunges and as @kimberlybreann3 says skaters...oh and another leg day ha!! Although I'm just getting over my one leg day almost a week ago ..and I did foam roll my hamstrings...mine are always tight. Good luck with tough mudder..I'm also doing it again in September xxx 3d

i_am_heather1 Week off, back to #back and working on those #shoulders. Introduced some cardio to my training only because I was feeling in a rut this last month. looks like I'll be doing #toughmudder in Sydney this year so it's good timing. Nobody looks at me and thinks I'm healthy - I've no core and I'm tall and big. legs, arms, trunk, face, butt! I've struggled with weight for a long time. Im not Wonder Woman, but I'm learning to appreciate my strength even if I find my size hard to deal with emotionally. @kimjanefox posted an amazing story yesterday about her own issues which helped me massively literally 12 hours after I'd been crying and panicking over all of my weaknesses. I love that lady and all that she stands for... one day, I hope to meet her in person. #fitfam #girlswholift #fitness #gettingthere 1w
