To make this thick smoothie, blend 1 cup Greek yogurt, small handful of raw spinach, 1 tbsp chia seeds, 1 tbsp peanut butter, 2 scoops vanilla whey protein powder (40g protein), any frozen fruit (I love using frozen blueberries, strawberries , and pineapple ) and a banana . healthyfood ️Easy homemade protein bars️ Store bought bars have a slew of added chemicals and artificial junk, not to mention they are expensive. There are quick and clean.
Dark chocolate oatmeal and peanut butter bars:

Add in a mixer with paddle attachment
Recipe--
1c oats
1/2c oat flour
1 1/2c brown rice puffs/cereal
2/3c natural peanut butter
2 tb melted coconut oil
1 tb hemp hearts
1tb chia seeds
2 tb ground flax seed
1/2c 0% Greek yogurt
2/3c chocolate protein powder
All measurements are approximations. You can truly add in anything: more protein, more oats, raisins, chocolate chops ect. Just make sure the consistency is sticky like cookie dough. Spread out into a greased pan. I topped these off with a little dark chocolate and peanut butter.

healthyfood Peanut butter and dark chocolate these are a hybrid of brownies, fudge, and muffins. Basically delicious!! Add all ingredients into a food processor except chocolate chips
Recipe:
1can of garbanzo beans drained and rinsed (you can't taste them, promise!!) 1c of oats
2 tablespoons of flaxseed
2 tablespoons of natural peanut butter
1/2c vanilla whey protein powder
1/2c 0% fat greet yogurt
3 packets of stevia ( plus or minus depending on your taste)
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 large bananas
Blend together very well and make sure the batter is moist
Then add in 1/2c of dark chocolate chips
Bake in a sprayed pan at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes.

healthyfood Homemade KIND Bars! This recipe is SO customizable, basically choose whatever flavors you want and add! These are Dark Chocolate, Cherry, Coconut, Cashew, Almond bars-- anyone have a good name?! Here is how to make them:
Mix in a large bowl--
•2 cups whole roasted unsalted almonds
•3/4 cup whole roasted unsalted cashews, coarsely chopped
•1/2 cup dried cherries, blueberries and cranberries coarsely chopped
•1/4 cup raisins, coarsely chopped
•1/2 cup puffed brown rice ,(or other puffed whole grain) •1 tablespoon flaxseed meal •For the GLUE to hold it all together:
•1/3 cup honey
•1/3 cup brown rice syrup •1/4 teaspoon salt
•1 teaspoon vanilla •For the chocolate topping:
•1 cup dark chocolate chips
•1 tablespoon coconut oil

In 1-1/2 or 2 quart saucepan, combine honey, rice syrup, salt, and vanilla over medium-high heat. Cook, stirring frequently, until mixture reaches 260 degrees (hard ball stage) on a candy thermometer. Immediately, pour mixture over nut mixture, stir until evenly coated. Quickly transfer to greased/sprayed 9x13 pan, use hands to spread mixture evenly in pan; press the mixture to close in holes and distribute evenly all over the pan. Using bottom of greased/sprayed drinking glass to tap and compact mixture in pan. Let cool 20 minutes (pan should still be slightly warm). Invert pan on cutting board and tap until mixture falls out in one piece. Cut into 20 bars. (If they cool too much and become too hard or brittle to cut easily, put in warm oven for 1-2 minutes to soften; proceed with cutting.) Allow bars to cool completely before proceeding with chocolate drizzles.

Melt the chocolate and coconut oil together, all to a plastic bag and snip a corner to drizzle on top.
NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION for 1 bar: 169 calories, 9.5g fat, 37mg sodium, 20.9g carbs, 1.6g fiber, 15.3g sugars, 3.6g protein

healthyfood Banana Nut Protein Bites These little bites will give you quick energy whenever you need it! You can throw in any ingredients, but here is how you make Banana Nut:
RECIPE: -1/2 creamy or crunchy natural peanut butter
-1 small or 1/2 a large banana - 1-2 tablespoons of ground Flax seed - a few crushed walnuts
