girlsgonechild I didn't include this @etsy (BestPersJewelry) necklace in my @paypal sponsored back to school post but I should have. Personalized necklaces are awesome BE YOURSELF! statement pieces. Not that Fable needs help in that department but still... Twas way fun surprising her with this little token. Will do the same for Bo and Revi when they start K, too. ) #paypalit 1d
  •   pinetreemountain We almost named our girl Fable. She ended up being a Clover though. 1d
  •   hotharrisonhouse @girlsgonechild may I ask which etsy vender you used for fables bling? 1d
  •   girlsgonechild @hotharrisonhouse BestPersJewelry xo 1d
  •   betterinrealife Does Archer like little tokens like that too? 1d
  •   girlsgonechild @betterinrealife nope. never. I used to buy him keychains for his backpack and he'd take them off... he's a minimalist in a house full of maximumalists. 1d
  •   hotharrisonhouse Thanks! My son and daughter started 4th and kindergarten as well. And I have a two almost three year old little girl. I sometimes read your posts and think how crazy similar our children are. + + 1d
  •   girlsgonechild @hotharrisonhouse whoa!! solidarity, mama!!! 1d
  •   betterinrealife Hahahaha i am fascinated by sibs, being an only. And i can't wait to see Gabe be similar and yet so different from his sibs. 1d

girlsgonechild These two are on a month-long "summer break" and because I'm an idiot and didn't read the fine print when we signed them up for preschool, I am feeling extremely and a little bit and 🚣🚣🚣🚣🚣 1w
  •   snowmommy Just don't *really* cut your hair, k? It's my favorite. 1w

girlsgonechild New post on GGC featuring a day in the life of four lunch boxes, sponsored by @bluediamond almonds. 1w
  •   eatplaygrow You say you don't like packing lunches, but you sure are good at it! 1w
  •   girlsgonechild @birdypics I'm so sorry that you have to deal with that. We have never had issues with nut allergies in our kids' classes and have always been free and clear to pack almonds in our kids' lunches. (Preschool is the same way.) If there was a threat of any kind, I wouldn't pack anything with nuts OF COURSE! That said, if there is no cause for concern re: my kids' classmates well being, I don't see why it's harmful to advocate for a healthy product. Again, many schools do not allow nuts (for good reason) but ours does. Much love and all the best to you and your fam. 1w
  •   graciafd I find it incredible that a school would ban nuts altogether. I'm sorry but I'm not from the US and this sounds impossible here. If a kod is severely allergic teachers and staff are warned and the kid is kept away from dangerous food but that's it (and I've never ever heard of a single case of a child's health being threatened by something like this here). I'm not saying it's wrong to ban them, I'm saying that to me in my culture this sounds like flying a spaceship to the store. 1w
  •   graciafd *kid 1w
  •   apocalypseher All the nuts in this post blew my mind. All our schools here are nut free. 1w
  •   justdoit1022 In ny all our schools and child care centers are nut free. 1w
  •   foothills_native @graciafd i'm a teacher and all of the schools i've worked in, in texas as well as colorado, have all been nut free. some people (including myself) are so sensitive to nuts that we can't even be in the same room with them, because it is an airborne allergy. just being near it causes instand hives on my arms, neck and chest, and starts affecting my breathing. i am an adult, imagine this happening to a child. i've seen it. better to completely eliminate any risk of that happening by having nut free schools, in my opinion. 4d
