gengisjon Awesome time today getting to meet @garymon16 down at Gas Works Park. I've known Gary for about two years now on IG, but this is the first time we've been able to connect face to face. Thank you @instagram for bringing us together :-) Great shooting with you today Gary! Thank you for coming out to play Looking forward to more adventures down the road. 2d

gengisjon Whatever roads you find yourself on this weekend, I hope they transport you to interesting places, don't have too much traffic, and take some fun turns along the way. Oh, and twinkly lights, I hope they have lots of twinkly lights. 3d

gengisjon In 2012, the P-I globe was donated to Seattle's Museum of History and Industry, which planned to refurbish and relocate it. “The Globe is one of Seattle’s signature icons,” #MOHAI Executive Director Leonard Garfield said at the time. “We are thrilled that our community will continue to enjoy the Globe for many years to come. We are honored to become the steward of this cherished symbol of Seattle’s journalism and our local history." Two years later, however, the big globe remains in place atop its perch overlooking the city's waterfront. 1w

gengisjon When I first moved here, Seattle was one of the last great two-newspaper cities, with the Seattle Times and Post-Intelligencer duking it out every day for readers' eyes. Now, sadly, all that's of the ole P-I is its landmark 13.5-ton, 30-foot globe, which sits like a lighthouse over the Puget Sound. 1w
