We have just had our first delivery of hive honey (we host a urban hive in our small backyard) and I have also just learnt that supermarket honey, besides being heat treated to avoid the crystallisation, has added glucose which does not have to be included in the labelling?!?!?! 4d

foxslane This afternoon while visiting our hives we watched a bee hatching. It was such an incredible experience to see it nibble its way out of its cell: first came the feelers, then the head and then the whole bee wandered out. I am head over heels in love with this bee keeping caper, it feels like such a privilege to be watching this story unfold with my bee-team. 3w
