fitmotivation It's sunday and I want to remind you of the importance of resting. Being productive feels great but we all need time to re-load our batteries.
Take some time to just breath today. Go for a walk in nature. Call a friend you haven't spoken to for a long time or just curl up in your bed/couch with a nice movie/book. It's not being lazy - it's necessary to have moments where we allow ourselves to just be. Taking time to do the things we enjoy so much is nourishing and refreshing. Spoil yourself! What would you REALLY like to do today?

fitmotivation This is my absolute plan - and I won't write goal or dream because I WILL get there. We spend so much time to earn a living - so why not find something we enjoy? Oprah said: "You know you are on the road to success if you would do your job, and not get paid for it." With success I don't necessarily think "rich" - I think happy. Because what is loads of money compared to a peace of mind, fulfilling tasks and time well spent? + Being passionate about your work will never be a bad thing when it comes to getting paid anyway.

I relate this to fitness as well.
Some people may find themselves struggeling getting to the gym or punishing themselves with exercise - but instead we should really find a way to enjoy the journey. Fitness is not all about getting rid of all your body-fat. It's not always about entering the stage. For me at least it's about peace of mind - being happy and PROUD of my body, fulfilling tasks - to feel how it makes me stronger and time well spent - if I'm going to live an active life - I want to ENJOY it!

fitmotivation We all have good and bad days. Sometimes life seem to dance your way but other times you may wonder how you will be able to manage at all. When we think about life it is clear that time in itself is the best cure for so many things but that knowledge still doesn't help much in a moment when everything just feel CRAP does it? 😕 When your chest is heavy and your stress-level just couldn't reach any higher please try to just sit back, close your eyes, take a deep breath.
Ask yourself: • What is positive in your life RIGHT NOW? Do you have a loving partner or supporting friends?
• What can you learn from this situation? How is this making you grow? • What can you do to make this situation easier? Do you need to take more time off to relax or do you need to have a good laugh and some FUN?
Know that "This too shall pass." Because it does! There's always something to be grateful for. Feel happy for the small things. Create your own sunshine!

fitmotivation You know what I hate most? Hearing MYSELF talk about doing things and then not pursue! Are your new year resolutions similar to "eat perfectly healthy and start to exercise twice as much you do now and quit smoking and quit alcohol and ...."? Get the point? It's easy to set unrealistic plans and promise yourself too much when you have grandios dreams for the future!
But that is not a clever way to go .
Ask yourself before making any promise: Is this the next logical step? Am I 100 % ready to fully commit. Do I believe that I am able to do this ?
If you feel like the answer is no to one of those questions your plans are too big and there is a big chance that you will totally give up and hurt your self esteem at the same time.
A promise you make to yourself is just as important as ones you give to your friends! If you keep braking your own promises there is a chance that you eventually start feeling like you can't do anything, that you're completely useless. Which is totally WRONG of course .
So from now on only set goals where you can answer YES to those three questions and GET SHIT DONE!

For more tips on helping you achieve your goals . "Core exercises make the lower back stronger and healthier. With a stronger back, you will be less prone to lower back pain, which is usually a result of carrying too much weight, or pressure on the lower back. By enhancing the body’s weight- bearing capabilities, back muscles and ligaments will be less vulnerable to damage by heavy weight. Moreover, a stronger core will allow for normal spinal functions."

fitmotivation You may have seen this quote a hundred times, I know I have but I still like it because nothing could be more true: The time will pass no matter HOW you choose to live your life. You may not have your dream body. You may not even be close. But does that really matter? It only matters if that's what you choose to put your focus on. Take a deep breath. Relax. It can feel impossible but try to not let your appearance affect you in a negative way, try to never let it keep you from living! You ARE beautful already and if you look FORWARD, set goals work for them you will soon be stronger, healthier and happier! And why do I say happier? Well because there is great joy in reaching goals and dreams you once thought was impossible! 2w
