fitmotivation I remember when all I wanted was for summer to pass. I remember not going to the beach because I didn’t want to wear only a bikini. All I wanted was to wear small shorts, have brown legs, just walk around and be happy! But all I wore was long skirts and dresses, trying to cover me up as much as possible. I tried to loose weight so many times but I never seemed to be able to. I was SO AFRAID of what people would think of me.
I was putting myself on hold all this time repeating, “Once I get skinny I will be happy”. I WAS TELLING MYSELF A LIE.

So what happened? I started to travel, for many months, met a lot of people, experienced new things and I GOT A NEW PERSPECTIVE.
I realized that people liked me FOR WHO I AM, that I WAS beautiful and that if someone thought otherwise - it didn’t matter!
I realized that my efforts to CONTROL everything had created this enormous stress, which was the cause of the weight gain. (Read again: STRESS CAUSES WEIGHT GAIN.) The more I could LET GO. The more I could JUST WALK AROUND AND BE HAPPY NOW - the easier the weight dropped off by itself. I ate well all the time as I had done before but something inside me changed. I decided to NOT stop myself from living my life!
I’m telling you that happiness will not automatically come once you reach a goal physique. It comes from within. And when you can feel that you are worth to be HAPPY NOW - eating well and exercising will become much easier as well.

So wear what you feel comfortable in, hang around with people that love you for who you are. Don’t give up. Healthy Fit people live as they preach. It’s a LIFESTYLE and you need to keep moving towards embracing that. If you want something you’ve never had, then you’ve got to do something you’ve never done. Consistency is the key. Loving yourself and feeling happy and comfortable takes time and practice. You WILL get there.
You only get one body. Let it take time and ask yourself: “Do I want to live a life feeling miserable about what could have been?”... OR “Do I want to feel HAPPY TODAY and Make the MOST out of my life with what I’ve got NOW?”
The choice is yours!!

fitmotivation Animal special 2/7. Can you relate?? I can🏽 First I found this picture quite upsetting and thought ”This is not something to joke about – a lot of people really do look down and feel terrible when trying on new clothes infront of a mirror!” But then I changed my mind. If YOU feel this way but still laugh at this cute monkey - WELL DONE: You realize that what you see in the mirror NOW does not define you. 🏼 People will always like you and become friends with you for your PERSONALITY. Always. Relationship based on only looks never last. Read my NEXT post about WHAT we can do NOW if we’re uncomfortable in our own skin. (Posting in two hours: 3 pm New York Time Zone) 4d

fitmotivation I'm here to tell you that eating healthy DOES get EASIER the more you do it!
STEP : KNOW that some foods are addictive especially Sugar, flour/wheat (and gluten), high fructose corn syrup. These foods works as strong "Triggers". Most people are sensitive to this but not everyone!
STEP : The more consistent you are in staying away from eating addictive foods the LESS will you crave them. (You might be surprised what 21 days without addictive foods in your diet can do for your wellbeing!!) But this is where your WILLPOWER will be tested. To get rid of these cravings you need to NOT give in for them. Yes this is tough! You will most likely fail over and over again But you'll learn from it😎🏼 STEP : To get rid of something bad we MUST replace it with something GOOD. Really put effort in finding healthy alternatives that YOU like. The more you try the more options you will get. Fall in love with Feeling good and energetic! If you don't know what I'm talking about... Just stick to some healthy eating and GREAT things will happen🏼

fitmotivation I mean think about this Meal prepping is a GREAT tool for making sure that you eat what you intended BEFORE you get too hungry!
We all know that when we're hungry we just want something QUICK and that often means "not too healthy". Meal prepping for a whole week is extreme and doesn't suit everyone, like if you're a parent or live with a partner.
But it has the beauty of SAVING TIME. In this world of high demands and thight schedule it's golden to just have a meal ready to eat! Especially if you're like me thinking of cooking as something "boring but just needs to get done". Know that YOU need to find what works for YOU. If that is to prepare for today, all the lunches for mon-fri or something else. I have personally NEVER meal prepped for a whole week - but I sure WILL give it a try!! Will you??

fitmotivation Did you know that what you think affects your whole body?
If you think stressful thoughts your body will prepare for "fight or flight" meaning that the process of digesting your food and getting nutrition from it will slow down.
If you think negative thoughts your immune system will get weaker.
You see, your brain can't tell if what you're thinking is true or not. Use this in a beneficial way - think of yourself as if you've already reached your goal. The most hurtful thing you can do is to think badly of yourself. 🏽
Whenever you tell yourself that you're not enough pretty, in shape, funny, whatever negative thing you say - you brake yourself down, literally and physically.
You know that this is true. Because you feel that heavy negativity in your chest.
It breaks my heart when people eat too little or run too much "because they are fat". Terrible eating disorders or othorexia are built up from negative emotions and a feeling that you don't "deserve" enough food and that you "must" punish yourself with all that exercise.
This is why EVERYTHING you do MUST come from self respect, acceptance and LOVE. ️ If you do things because you love yourself your body will respond.
If you lift heavy because it is good for your YOU, your well being, bones and muscles you WILL get results.🏼🏼 LOVING yourself and to eat, live, move with JOY and passion. THAT is what life is about! Tell yourself today: I LOVE MYSELF FOR WHO I AM TODAY. Say this, feel this and you will be ready for what tomorrow has to offer!

fitmotivation The worst thing is when you've met someone for a few hours and afterwards you feel completely drained! Always be with people that gives you positive feelings and energy! ️ It's easy to let "the funniest" friend get the most of your attention but something VERY important and that many forget is to really value your old friends. The people that seen your worst and still love you, the ones who been with you through good and bad. Make something nice for THEM. Show them that you care. Be someone who gets AND gives. INVEST in people that INVEST in you. ️ TAG someone you appreciate and value! 7d
