I believe this is the real issue with most weight loss problems people face. There are those who seem to do it all right - workingout is not the problem. They will even overdo it, but still the weight won't come off, or the fat won't seem to melt. It's a FOOD FIGHT! And it's YOU against the food!

fitboynurse Happy #flexfriday my friendly friends!! Ya, I'm mostly an extreme cardio, HIIT, cardio-kickboxing, Krav Maga kinda guy, but I LIFT enough to keep my man-bumps PUMPED! Plus, all the other workouts I do aren't strictly cardio, but all incorporate strength-building! So BAM! ▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
What's your FAVORITE type of workout? Cardio? HIIT (high intensity interval training)? Weights? Running, swimming, Yoga? MMA? Whatever it is, try to have some variety. It's good to be well-rounded person, (no pun intended) be HEALTHY >> be HAPPY!

There's SO much more I can say, but I'll just say this: "people" want things (career change, weight loss, hot body, more income/knowledge, relationship, success, etc) to just "happen". Out of the blue. Like BAM! And it won't. Ever! So there. ▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
Get crakalakin, yo! DO WORK! Make a plan! You CAN accomplish whatever it is you want, but not by wishing upon a star. And I can go on & on, but I wasn't gonna even say all that, lol, so - I'll end with my usual, signature fitboynurse statement - be HEALTHY >> be HAPPY!

fitboynurse TODAYS IS MY REST DAY! TAG your fitness buddy, & TELL ME if you can RELATE!
This is something I have to continually remind myself, because I am the worst offender some weeks. As any normal fitness lover, I HATE rest days. It always feels like something's missing. It's like you don't know what to do. You stand there sometimes looking at the weights, or the yoga mat, or the gym bag... Helplessly standing there like in a daze... ▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
But it's so important to take a rest day!! Take a day off. Our muscles aren't going to shrink if we rest one day. We're not going to get fat if we rest one day. We're still going to be able to bend forward and touch our toes if we rest one day. All the horrible things we think will happen if you rest for one day, are not going to happen. I think... Lol! be HEALTHY >> be HAPPY!

Some workouts are are SO hard & challenging, but I so look forward to them, like Turbo Kick or Krav Maga! Other workouts I do regularly cause I commit to them & I know they're good for me, they shape my body, & I love challenging myself, like INSANITY or P90X.

Every time I open my eyes as I wake up I'm filled with a sense of gratitude to God for allowing me another day! I'm not a "religious" man, but I do KNOW that I have not brought myself to this point in my life, nor blessed myself with life, health, & everything else I enjoy & often take for granted! Even those "challenges" or "problems" I often face seem to come from a loving hand, to make me a better man & learn to depend on the One who has not failed me... be HEALTHY >> be HAPPY!
