fitalicious_me Finally arrived in Lagos,Nigeria15 hour flight from LA to Dubai and 7 hours from Dubai to Nigeria! Yup 22 hours of flying with a 12 hour layover! Ben and I will be living with @sadeleke and her family for the next 10 days! We just went to the grocery store and did our first shopping tripnow time to prep for dinner! Tomorrow will be our first full day here and it will be filled with workouts, more grocery shopping and some fun recipe creations. #fitaliciouslife 1d

fitalicious_me GUYSWE ARE GOING TO NIGERIA,AFRICA @sadeleke DM me 26 weeks ago and said that she would love to have Ben and I come live with her family and teach them how to create a healthy lifestyle! Although I have had LOTS of people reach out the me on a international level, Sharon's message just resonated for some reason. After several emails and face times we set a date! We were supposed to go in February, but Sharon's husband had something come up, so we had to postpone the trip a bit. In the meantime Sharon became pregnant with her second child! She gained 100 pounds with her first child and said she didn't want to do that again!
We will be living with Sharon and her family for the next 10 days! I also plan on having video on my YouTube channel (Vevian Vozmediano)! I CAN NOT wait to share all the AmazingNess of this entire experience! This will be the 6th family that we have the privilege of working with this year!
After the 10 days we will head to Barcelona,Spain where Ben has a event (he owns a event planning company there). After a week in Spain we head to Sweden where we will visit with Bens family!

I have owned several belts that hold my phone and keys when running and they just bounce and ride up. I also hate arm bands! I always slide my phone in my sports bra when I go for a run or am at the gym. My phone gets all sweaty and nastyTHEN I got this belt! I have had it now for 3 days and I seriously don't know where this has been all my life! This belt has a tubular design that has 4 easy openings to slide everything you need inside without bouncing or chafing! It also has clip for your keys! fitalicious_me Purchased this little plant todayit was so unique and I felt like it was symbolic of my life. You see, although it's a small plant, it is very sturdy. It's complexity is so detailed and tightly woven with little sharp thorns to scare away predators. But out peeks these beautiful delicate flowers This little plant has a story or lesson to take to heart for me: As we go through life, being hurt, people letting us down, things not going as we had hoped and never feeling like you are enough, we develop thorns and shelter ourselves. We allow only a few into our lives in fear of getting hurt again. But then out of nowhere someone comes into our life that makes you feel magicalYou are terrified at first! You try to push them
away. But they tell you "All I want to do is love you"️you slowly let your walls downand out come these feelings you have never felt before. They are like little delicate flowersThe flowers slowly start to cover the entire cactus. When you feel sad just focus on everything that makes you happy. fitalicious_me Coconut Cashew Protein Butter I have made MANY different kinds of nut butters in my time in IG, but I have to say this is THE BEST one I have EVER made!!
Taste like condensed milk
Loving my new coconut grass fed whey from @sfh
Ingredients:
1 cup unsweetened dried coconut
1/2 cup raw cashew
3 packets of powdered stevia or xylitol, I used @nunaturals
1/2 teaspoon coconut oil
1 scoop coconut @sfh or any vanilla whey protein you wish

Directions:
First make coconut butter by blending the coconut until it's velvety smooth. Then add the cashew and stevia. Blend until smooth. Now add protein powder and coconut oil. Blend very well.
This should last for several months. I will store mine in a glass container I am reusing and in my pantry. It will firm up in your fridge and be more like fudge. #blendtec #LivinSFH

Made these for a friend
Here is my recipe for the cookies:
1/2 cup of your favorite peanut butter, I used @gonuts_mid
1 egg
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup oat flour
Mix everything together well and bake on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper for 7-8 minutes 350f.

fitalicious_me Light Cashew Ice Cream
Ok here's the thing... I love cashews and have made cashew ice cream before, but it's very calorically dense. 1/2 cup has almost 300 calories and around 25 grams of fat...and although it's good fat and calories I'm all about volume! I wanted to create a ice cream that wasn't a smudgy, slushy mess by just watering down the cashew cream. I wanted to have that creamy constancy you would get from real full fat ice cream. After lots of research I tested this recipes and it turned out AMAZING! 1 cup is just over 150 calories and around 10 grams of fat!

Here is my recipe:
Soak 3/4 cup raw cashew for at least 2 hours in filtered water
Drain and blend with 4 1/2 -5 cups filtered water
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Stevia to taste or any other sweetener you wish (sweeten to your own likeness)
In a pot add 4 cups of your cashew milk.
Put the rest of the milk in a small bowl and whisk in 3 tablespoons tapioca flour.
Heat your milk and add the tapioca milk and continue to whisk consistently for about 7 minutes
Your milk will thicken. If you dip your finger in the milk it should coat it.
Place your mixture in a air tight container and stir again.
Let cool for at least 3 hours in your fridge.
Place the mixture into your ice cream maker.
This will also work without a ice cream maker of you place the mixture in your freezer for at least 4 hours, but you will have to stir it ever 1/2 hour or so.

For today I did not use the Smith machine(that's the machine that assist you whole doing exercises like squats) instead I went for a straight bar. I feel more in control with a straight bar. No, I can't go as heavy because I'm limited to how much I can lift and put behind my shoulders, which is also the awesome part of this workout/challenge. Challenge yourself by seeing how heavy you can go, and how deep you can squat🏼
Aim for at least 3 rounds and go till failure. Let's get strong TOGETHER! I did 90lbs! It's my heaviest this far!

Cheap, Simple Almond Milk:
2 cups filtered water
1 tablespoon natural almond butter
10-15 drop of stevia or whatever you want to use to sweeten
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
BOOM! So creamy and DELISH!
About ¢.10 a cup!
Can be stored in your fridge for 2 days, but it will separate. Just mix it up again
NOT FULL OF CHEMICALS
UN-PROCESS YOUR FOOD!

fitalicious_me Protein Truffles
Flour & Grain Free
This recipe was inspired by some tiny avocados I recently picked
along with some new protein powder from @sfh which has a incredible line of grass fed whey protein powder.
For this recipe you will need:
1 very small avocado or 1/2 a regular avocado.
1 scoop chocolate protein powder, I used @sfh
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa
10-15 drops stevia, I used @nunaturals vanilla
1 tablespoon coconut butter, I make my own.
Mix everything together very well until you can't see anymore green from the avocado. Place in the fridge for 30 minutes to firm up.
I used a Mellon ball scooper to insure all my truffles were the same size and rolled them in unsweetened coconut and cocoa powder. Store in the fridge
As you see, my recipe made 8 truffles.

2 young Thai coconuts

Blended with my absolute favorite kitchen appliance, my Aqua @blendtec blender
Poured into my @cuisinart ice cream maker.
Feel free to add a sweetener or flavor extracts, but I chose to leave this creation as simple as possible.
SO CREAMY AND DELICIOUS!
