finnharries So I met this guy a couple of months back called @cubbygraham. He works at @charitywater and he's like a creative ball of energy. I was in Brooklyn last weekend and we stopped by Cubby's apartment. He lives with a couple of friends in an old factory on the river edge. This is the view from his kitchen window. Despite being one of the most modern cities in world, in this picture New York looks like it's been in a time capsule for the last 30 years. Go follow @cubbygraham if you don't already. 3d

finnharries A forest of concrete, brick and glass. That building at the back, in the middle of the photo is 432 Park Avenue. When it's competed it'll be the tallest residential building in the world. The top floor apartment was sold for $95 million. It's hard to understand the disparity between this view and a picture I posted nearly one year ago of the Kibera slums in Nairobi, Kenya. 6d

finnharries That's Kevin. We spent the day exploring New York and he showed me this rooftop. In return I showed him how to jump. #worldjump 7d

finnharries Having been here for 12 weeks I've learnt that cycling is my favourite mode of transport in New York. Not only is it quick but you get to witness little details that you'd otherwise miss on the subway. In the evenings the golden glow of the setting sun reflects off the sea of glass that towers into the sky. 1w

finnharries On Sunday I hopped on an early morning bus to Washington D.C from New York. I was heading to the National Building Museum to visit an exhibition of an architect called Bjarke Ingels. He's one of the designers that inspired me to start my studies in architecture. I spent two hours wondering around the exhibition in awe. If you get the chance I'd recommend you go. It's called Hot to Cold. I had just enough time to visit The White House before hopping on a bus back home. Thanks @sophiesvob and @kevinwonka for joining me on the adventure. If you don't know @bjarkeingels already then check out his work. One of the most innovative and extraordinary architects of our time, in my opinion. 2w

finnharries I often get asked why I jump... The reason is that I believe life is too short to stand still. #worldjump 2w

finnharries It's not often you get an entire museum to yourself. Here's Tim contemplating some of the @metmuseum's Roman sculptures. I'd highly recommend a visit if you're in New York City. #emptymet 2w

finnharries Walking back from a four hour Spanish class... On a Saturday! That's One World Trade Centre in the distance. It was designed by Daniel Libeskind to replace the twin towers. It's currently the tallest skyscraper in the Western Hemisphere. #learnsomethingnew 2w

finnharries I have this thing with floors... A friend told me about this last week. I love the idea of appreciating the small details we take for granted everyday. Check out their account and give them some love: @ihavethisthingwithfloors 2w

finnharries I spent this morning walking around the @metmuseum before it opened for the day. The structure on the left here is the Temple of Dendur. It was donated by the Egyptian government in 1978 on the condition that it would be seen 24 hours a day by the public. Since the museum closes at night, this beautiful sloping glass wall was built that allows passers-by in Central Park to view the structure. Thanks to the @thenewschool for organising the trip. I was there with a bunch of talented people like @sophiesvob , @kevinwonka and @timtothewild. Check them out. #emptymet 2w

finnharries Off to class! It's a big weight off my chest to announce what I'm up to in New York, however the adventures don't stop here! They're just beginning and I'm excited to share my journey. Besides it's summer holidays in five weeks. Woohoo! Thanks to @kevinwonka for the photo and @thearrivalsnyc for the lovely jacket. #worldjump 3w

finnharries Three months ago, in snowy January I packed-up everything I owned and moved to New York. One of the values we promote on @jacksgap is doing what you're passionate about in life. For me that's design and architecture. I had delayed and delayed my studies because I wanted to help as much as I could on the Youtube channel however it was finally time to bite the bullet. I'm now an undergraduate architecture major at Parsons School of Design in Manhattan. I feel very lucky to be able to study while still being involved with JacksGap. Thank you for supporting my creative endeavours over the last couple of years. Im proud to be part of this community. 3w

finnharries Regram from @jacksgap 'We're proud to share our latest video with you, "24 Hours in New Orleans." Whilst filming in New Orleans we tried some unconventional ways of exploring the city, such as climbing electricity pylons and latching on to the back of streetcars. To see the shots we captured this way, click the link in the description. (Photo by @gregmccahon)' 4w

finnharries I arrived in New Orleans last night to help @jackharries and the @jacksgap team to film a project they're working on here. It's the same project they were working on in Tokyo a couple of weeks back. Here's a shot of jack skateboarding down a street with a camera strapped to his head. Photo by @gregmccahon 1mon

finnharries This is @jeremyloops. He's a musician from South Africa. He invited me to watch him play a gig on Monday night in downtown Manhattan. I've been meaning to link up with Jeremy ever since @mrbenbrown showed me his music. He's a super talented, humble guy with a really original sound. Go follow his adventures and check out his music. There's a shed session with Jeremy going on @jacksgap later this year! 2mon

finnharries Two weeks ago I ventured out into the streets of New York at 6am with Casey Neistat and Jack Coyne to go snowboarding through Time Square behind Casey's jeep. We were unsuccessful but it was an adventure nonetheless. 3mon
