fatooshhh Thank you all for your condolences. It means a lot to me, my family & my relatives. My next read is The Battle For Justice in Palestine by Ali Abunimah, who is also the co-founder of the Electronic Intifada. I've only just started it but so far it demonstrates a staggering insight into the shared values the US has with Israel, and how this is depicted through the racial crucification of Palestinians & African Americans. 5d

fatooshhh Inna lillahi wa ina elayhi raje3oon. My cousin was shot and killed by Israeli settlers on Friday afternoon. He was leaving jummah prayer with friends, while fasting, on the last Friday in Ramadan. He was only 20 years old. I ask you all to pray for him and to ask Allah to grant him the highest level in Jannah. 6d

fatooshhh When these photos were being taken, I wasn't heading to a protest or to an event for Palestine. I simply went out to take the photos and go back home. But it was surprising how many people stopped me on my way, asking why I was dressed like this. And what surprised me even more is how unaware people are of what is happening in Gaza. Some people didn't even know it was currently under attack! One woman who worked at the park that I was taking these photos at, requested that I not tag the location of where I was shooting when I uploaded my photos online. She was scared someone would come after her.....smh. It is our job as PRIVILEGED Muslims, who are lucky enough to not be living in Gaza or in Syria or in any other war-zone country to make these events known to society. It is our job, because as we sit here in our comfortable homes with our families, food and shelter, our brothers and sisters are starving, homeless and losing loved ones. Our brothers and sisters are constantly under attack. As we sit here and look forward to Eid celebrations, millions of Muslims worldwide are watching their family members dying. Truth be told, I'm not excited for the upcoming Eid. In fact, I wish Ramadan would last a bit longer so that we can have extra days of this holy month to make even more Duaa for them in Ramadan. Even after Ramadan we must keep them all in every one of our prayers still. No matter where you are in the world, together, united, we can help our brothers and sisters get the justice they deserve. So act, donate, and help make a difference! Disregard any negativity anyone gives you, and fight for what you believe in. Make up by @dandana_makeup 1w

fatooshhh They said it was because of Hamas. They said they were the cause. They said that they were the reason these innocent lives were all lost. They said all this, and the western world stood beside them. They were defended by the United States who supported and provided for them. They murdered 4 innocent boys playing football on a beach. They shot them down, one by one each. They murdered a 20 year old young man during a ceasefire. They needed more, not enough, the death toll had to climb higher. They dropped bombs on a handicap institution. They drowned Gaza in rubble, smoke and pollution. They committed massacres in Shujaya and called it defense. They then moved on to Khuzaa and the slaughtering commenced. They bombed ambulances as they attempted to rescue the injured. They continued to obstruct, Gaza's progress was hindered. They showered Gaza City and Rafah with F16 missiles. They then claimed their actions were not prejudicial. They destroyed 84 schools, and uprooted more olive trees. They injured 3700+ civilians, many of who became amputees. They did all this, and it was still not enough. They continue making Palestinian's life rough. They continue raping Gaza day after day. They are hoping she will one day be silenced, so they can have their way. (Written by me) 1w

fatooshhh I'd like to take this time out to ask for your support for Palestine by downloading this app Buycott. It allows the user to scan the barcode on any product they would like to purchase and identifies whether the brand supports Israel or not. Boycotting is currently one of Israel's biggest fears and as social media is raising awareness on all the massacres and the occupation of my people, you can all show some support by not giving your money over to Israel which is aiding in killing them. Sharing this with all your friends will also be very beneficial. Thank you all for the support. 2w

fatooshhh this raspberry seltzer from Flour Bakery in Boston has to be one of my favorite drinks I've ever tried. I normally don't like to drink anything aside from water and coffee, but this beverage was so light and full of flavor. Thank you for the recommendation @winbin 4w
  •   ablaa716 Wait aren't you fasting for Ramdan! 4w
  •   fatooshhh @ablaa716 I broke my fast because technically a 5 hour drive is considered traveling in Islam and when you're traveling you can break your fast, and we drove to and from in one day. So it was 10 hours driving. 4w
  •   _ayesha7abibtixo What camera do you use? 4w
