  •   bettyparra10 Some of the most beautiful references to birds were made by Jesus Christ. Consider these words found at Matthew 6:26: “Observe intently the birds of heaven; they do not sow seed or reap or gather into storehouses, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth more than they are?” That touching illustration reassures Jesus’ followers that they are precious to God and need never be anxious about obtaining life’s necessities.—Matthew 6:31-33 2mon

eyecool Can't put my finger on why, but growing up, these guys scared me. You'd think a lion was chasing me. I'd run for cover, quick, then figure out how to destroy it. (while hiding long enough, just hoping it'd leave)

They don't bother me anymore. I respect them. To get a portrait like this, I snuggle up close enough to pet it. I think they're beautiful, but I wouldn't want to share a pillow with them.

Like them or flee them? How do you react? #bee #hornet #wasp #yellowjacket

  •   vgreenb Respect! They play an important role in our environment and if they hurt us it means we invaded their space. @eyecool 4mon
  •   eyecool @vgreenb . I feel the same way. I think the way to teach it is to understand that we play an important role in their environment. Hence the more we jive, the more we all thrive. 4mon

  •   prettysparklythings Flee! When I was very little a swarm attacked me and my siblings. My big brother picked me up and ran while the bees stung us and my other brother and sister. Most bugs and even critters don't scare me, but bees do! 3mon
