everyday_tactical A new addition to my carry rotation, the @hinderer_knives XM-18 in CPM-20CV steel. I love how positive the grip is on this thing. The traction plan is stellar and yet it's still completely comfortable. 3w

  •   maddlag Nice 4w
  •   smisekj Nice lanyard bead 4w
  •   everyday_tactical Yea it is! @smisekj 4w
  •   dakota_harlan @everyday_tactical have you seen the new @buckknives 245 MWG? It's a great tactical knife and would compare to the ESEE 4 in size. It's made from 5160 steel and also made in the USA. I thought no way would a large production company like buck knives compare with the quality of ESEE, but it really is a great quality knife that compares very well with the ESEE 4. It has less bushcraft applications but excels in the tactical department. Just wondering if you had heard of it or not. 3w

Normal Everyday Tactical
everyday_tactical A couple of great blades arrived today for me to add to my systems, the ESEE-4 in 440C stainless and the ESEE Candiru in Flat Dark Earth. #MailCall!! 2mon
  •   justmanny83 Thank you.. 2mon
  •   pesarirooni62 @everyday_tactical thank you very much 2mon
  •   sorrycharleey I'm thinking about the Izula 2mon
  •   unmarkedbillz How do you like the 440c? I thought it was a cheesy steel but maybe esee heat treats it right. 2mon
  •   everyday_tactical Well I've only owned it for about 5 hours but so far I think it's really nice. I've always had good experience with 440C, I'd still put it in the premium steel category, if on the lower end of the list. But this guy came crazy sharp, I can say that for sure. I'll know more as I continue to carry/use it @unmarkedbillz 2mon
  •   _mtl8 My ESEE-5 sees light use and the blade is still as hair popping sharp as the day it arrived. 2mon
  •   noahbeethoven @everyday_tactical I'm wanting to get a good fixed blade for general outdoors/survival use and have narrowed it down to the Ontario RAT-5 and the Kabar Bk-10. Which one would you choose? 2mon

everyday_tactical My 3 favorite small platform fixed blades. On top is The Bradford Guardian 3 from @bradfordusa, a sweet custom I've reviewed in the past and probably my most regularly carried. Next is the Kabar Boss in S35VN. Easy to drop in a pocket or bag and sharp as all get out. And new to my rotation is the Izula II from ESEE knives in 1095 Carbon steel with a tan powdercoat and micarta handles. It almost immediately impressed me and I look forward to spending more time with it in use. 3mon

everyday_tactical So a few months ago I was surprisingly diagnosed with a disease that requires me to take pills regularly. For the most part I've just used a standard boring pill scheduler box thing like you'd get at a drug store. But it's so not my style and frankly a pain. So I started looking for something more EDTish and finally found this on Amazon for $30. It's all titanium (anodized obviously), water and air tight, and it's definitely more my speed. I can keep a few days worth of meds hanging around my neck and it doesn't look like I'm suddenly a 70 year old man digging thru his bag for his pills. And it can be used to carry an extra AA battery for my pocket light or matches while camping or anything I can fit in it really. I'm thankful for the find and what's more, I'm thankful it was cheap. 3mon

everyday_tactical This, my friends is the Kepler from @jaroszknives (pictured below the knife). It's one of several of his custom knives now for sale at Canfield's Sporting Goods here in Omaha. This one is calling to me though so in order to raise the fundage, over the next few days, I'm gonna be selling off some of my own knives right here. Keep watching for some great deals! 3mon
