elodietomson There are lessons that you can't get out of a book or from movies that are waiting for you at the other end of that flight. When you travel, your whole existence becomes a series of interesting guesses. Do yourself a favor, pick a place and book a flight -- you'll figure the rest out as you go. Just go and see all the beauty this world has to offer || Shout out to all the new friends we've made on this journey. 3w

elodietomson As if the road to Hana wasn't enough, our adrenaline kicked in (after a few cave cliff jumps and fresh water dips into titanic-like water) and we decided to keep on for another 15 miles until reaching Haleakala Crater. We decided to venture on a (short) 4 hour hike on Pipiwai Trail heading towards the literally, magical Waimoku Falls (side note: we bitched and moaned the whole way up -- in our defense, we were sore from our previous adventure filled 10 days.) The rebel in us happily ignored a few "do not enter" signs in order to get up close and personal with natures 400ft beauty. 3w

elodietomson • Woke up before the sunrise to drive up the east coast of Maui on the Road to Hana 🚘 • Our 14 hour journey included 64 miles, 11 stops, over 600 hairpin turns, and 46 one lane bridges through landscapes of rocky cliffs, waterfalls and the rainforest. || Here's a shot of the coastline -- Hawaii, you've been amazing! 3w

elodietomson Trust all of lifes unexpected turns -- you never know where it'll lead you || Even when you least expect it, Kaua'i throws an adventure your way. We didn't plan on a hike today, but after setting eyes on this beauty of a waterfall (in all her 173 foot glory) we were determined to make it to the bottom, despite being completely unprepared. elodietomson "The very basic core of a man's living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences.
