efitmama I love watching my body transform and progress. The left pic was about 4-5 years ago. I did 45 minutes of cardio 5-6x a week. And by cardio I mean walking on the treadmill. I ate one big meal a day, and it was generally not nutritious! The pic on the right was last summer - after a couple years of weight training and eating 4-6 nutritious meals (generally) each day! There is absolutely nothing at all wrong with the pic on the left other than that I wasn't eating enough and felt I had to do so much cardio because I wasn't educated in Heath and fitness at the time. I get emails constantly about people afraid of eating more food or more carbs and it's sad, but I can relate! I just want those girls/women to know it is ok! And it can do your body good! Especially if you are active and eating more nutritious foods! I love that I now am able to switch my routine up often, feel strong, build muscle, eat more and feel good! #TransformationTuesday 18h

efitmama I have a fire lit under my ass. 2016 is going to be a good year! Do you know why? Because I'm choosing to make it one. I'm choosing to be happy, to see the blessings in even the worst situations. Your outlook on things determines your mood and your energy. Don't put your energy into negative things. You are feeding it. Instead seriously find the good and focus on that. Even if the good is so small you can barely see it. Things happen for a reason and they happen when and how they are meant to. Being negative about circumstances is only causing harm to yourself and the ones around you. #ichoosehappiness - a little interesting fact about my dove tattoo I got when I was 22 - it represents peace and love and new beginnings. 6d
