eboomer We have now paddled almost 200 miles in 6 days to the confluence of the De Pas and George Rivers. Most impressive is this incredible wilderness that is unfolding in front of our eyes. A close second are the horendous clouds of Mosquitos and black flies that make tent camping a mortal imparative. Ahead is a whitewater exploration of the Georges downstream tribs and the mysterious torngat mountains where we will meet up with Chris Korbulic and Ben Marr at the Mouth of the George river to catch a float plane to the Torngat. But that is still 200 miles and too many paddle strokes to count ahead.... @redonkulous2u @pedrolivakaiak @ckorbulic @bennymrr #voked @delormegps #destinationtorngat 5d

eboomer The canoe is definitely the vehicle of choice for the George river, but our long boats are just as fast and will hopefully allow us to make first descents of class V a few hundred miles upstream to the north. @delormegps #voked #destinationtorngat 1w
