drinasera Years ago, we sat near a vineyard on the edge of the world and talked about what kind of parents we would be. Could you imagine that type of miracle, he asked. I couldn't, and still can't. 2d

drinasera How I'll always remember my sweet happy boy: happiest outside, holding his favourite teddy, soft milky belly warmed by the sun, always checking over his shoulder to see if im only steps away, laughing doing the simplest things like walking to the mailbox and picking up handfuls of pebbles. 2w

drinasera Dylan Aston, my sweet is 17 mnths this week. He now runs with the force of a baby elephant, he climbs our furniture with the ease of a baby monkey, he is as fearless as a lion as he climbs all over his daddy.
Best of all, he throws his arms around his mama's neck and squeezes tightly then nuzzles in like a koala bear.

drinasera There's a famous quote about the two things you can stare at forever~ the ocean and fire. But i disagree. Beyond the ocean and fire, there's him, and this is my forever. 1mon

drinasera Water does not resist. Water flows. When you plunge your hand into it, all you feel is a caress. Water is not a solid wall, it will not stop you. Water always goes where it wants to go, and nothing in the end can stand against it. Water is patient. Dripping water wears away a stone. Remember that, my child. Remember you are half water. If you can't go through an obstacle, go around it. Water does. 2mon

drinasera The sun is perfect and you woke this morning. You have enough language in your mouth to be understood. You have a name, and someone wants to call it. Five fingers on your hand, and someone wants to hold it. If we just start there, every beautiful thing that has and will ever exist is possible. If we start there, everything, for a moment, is right in the world. * photo unrelated, other than it makes me happy* 2mon

drinasera "In the tapestry of childhood, what stands out is not the splashy, blow out trips to Disneyland but the common threads that run throughout and repeat: the family dinners, nature walks, reading together at bedtime, Saturday morning pancakes..." Kim John Wayne 3mon
