dotlomar Last full day in Austin. (#latergram from Sunday between storms.) Who needs to turn on the weather channel when you have a front row seat with a view. Glad we weren't stranded in a hotel room.
Note to self: We must come back to this gorgeous #airbnb location when the weather is more favorable.

dotlomar 30 years ago, we were just two kids in love. We were inseparable. I always say that we raised each other and learned life's lessons together. We still laugh at the silliest, sometimes inappropriate things. I always find it fascinating that we have been married more years now than the years that we weren't.
Marriage isn't easy. It's full of challenges: financial, differences of opinions, health. Why do people think those things have to be deal breakers? It makes life interesting. I'm not perfect. You are not perfect. Let's be imperfect together!

dotlomar Grateful...is how I feel this morning. I have the best family ever. Lots of emotions this week as we struggled with spending our 30th anniversary weekend away from our dear old boy, Cocoa. He's at our home with family caring for his every need and we are at peace as we know he is in good hands. 2w

  •   iamchristine_d So so sad to hear this Dot. Praying that he is ok and you are able to stop the seizures. Sending you love , strength and healing thoughts. 2w
  •   followtheanimals Oh no! Poor fella. I've seen great things with anti-seizure meds. He may be okay on those for awhile, even at his age! 🏼 That said, I'll tell you what I tell my clients, which is to pay close attention to your instincts when it comes to his health at this juncture. You're more in tune with him than anyone, and if you see that he's in pain, struggling, or that the meds aren't giving him quality of life, that's when the hard decisions have to be made. Just stay as connected to Cocoa as possible - he will give the clues you need to know how to proceed. Sending lots of love to you, and lots of good energy to Cocoa!! 2w

dotlomar Over the years, I've spent a lot of time at airports. Some airports are dingy, dark, outdated, confusing...It's genius that some have been designed to waken the senses. I was in a hurry last week but wished I could have stayed a bit longer. But, only a bit. 1mon
