dessertfortwo I made them again tonight. I'm obsessed with mini pies in muffin pans! And I'm making them again for Memorial Day weekend! What are you cooking this weekend?
We try to make a big deal out of Memorial since my husband is a Veteran. So these mini pies will be his favorite flavor this weekend--APPLE

dessertfortwo I had a serious craving for cheese straws (#Southern), but couldn't find my cookie press. So, I made these cheese straw cookie/ cracker type things, and they're even better than the original!
I added smoked paprika to the batter and went a little light on the cayenne, and Camille loves these, too!

dessertfortwo Camille sometimes does this thing where she devours her dinner (cheesy black bean lasagna by @melskitchencafe), but then when I pack it in her lunch the next day, she won't eat it (because it's cold?) Anyway, I had to come up with a snack-style lunch for her this morning: short grain brown rice, homemade hummus, beet chips + crackers, @kerrygoldusa cheese cubes and cantaloupe. Her morning snack on the side is whole milk yogurt + chopped dates.
Meanwhile, Mama is over here surviving on milky tea and toast. I should really eat like my kid. #lunchbox #kidfood #babyfood #babyfoodie #babylove #12months

  •   dessertfortwo @joonwoni hi Joon! At first, yes. I did no salt foods for her. I never restricted her on fat, but I made sure it was grass-fed dairy and naturally-raised and grass-fed/ pastured meat. Now, she eats what we eat, but we naturally cook low-salt. Hope this helps! :) 2w

dessertfortwo I had such an incredible day at a food blog conference, and my heart is so full after spending time with other creatives. Our job is weird, so we must stick together and inspire each other.
But most importantly, I wouldn't be able to be on this path without YOU, so thanks for loving small batch recipes, mini desserts (and hating leftovers!). I'd like to feed you tomato soup with goat cheese hearts and a half dozen chocolate chip cookies
