davidbrewer For no apparent reason, one bird took to the air and the disintegration began. In que, each pair of wings that took flight was a signal to the next and the chaotic dance of 10,000 feathers darkened the once empty sky with the fluid patterns that only flocks and shoals understand. The sky swirled around itself; soaring and swooping; over and under; in and out. The perfectly sequenced chaos weaved patterns of flowing rivers and crashing falls; blooming flowers and weeping willows; of nature’s ability to be perfect in the absence of symmetry. And then, almost as suddenly as it began, one bird decided the cacophony had gone on long enough and found quite on an upper branch leading the dancers back to their perch where peace ensued... 3mon
